I need help. I really got burned out from watching anime for years and reading light novel and manga. Now I got burned out from reading chinese novels. Even tho I tried watching anime but one season anime takes me months to finish me like literally i finished a 24-26 episode of anime for like one and half a year. So any one here knows how to recover from it or im type of person that gets bored easily?????

The trick is to do something else to recover your brain juice. Pushing yourself to continue will only make the situation worse.

Well, probably the best way to recover is to stop consuming the media for quite a while. Like at least 6 months. Then, maybe pick up an anime that’s slightly interests you and binge it on weekend nights. Then, once that’s done, find a manga that interests you (maybe that’s connected to the anime you just watched) and read that. Then read a novel and so on. But really, all you can do is wait and hope

The point is to enjoy it. You might be isolating yourself from other humans with these solitary hobbies. I've done that.

how often do you exercise/ do physical activity (and preferably outside)? you'll be burned out more easily if your life is too sedentary

I have the same issue, but if you rotate between hobbies every few months/year it gets okay. Even so, I still just sit mindlessly in front of the computer asking "what to do"

I suggest you read some light-hearted novels, sweety and with the power of delighting and pleasing.

Engage your mind in other forms. Try other genres, if that's not helping, do something different. Like Play video games, pick up a physical hobby, create stories or works of art.

You've reached a plateau of a chemical imbalance. You've probably maxed your dopamine levels, that it'll take something really extraordinary to maintain your interest in novels.

You'll need a reset, to get back into your specific genre.

Time for you to start watching some tv series, breaking bad, dexter, heroes, daredevil, walking dead, the haunting of hill house, vikings, rose red, storm of the century, babylon 5, farscape etc.

After watching tv series for a long time you can bounce back to anime again. It worked for me when i got bored of anime but now i'm back to watching it again, currently watching zombieland saga which is good.

Honestly, just do something else. And make a small note or take down stuff that looks interesting for later. When I get burned out I need 3 months before I can even think about doing whatever it was again (Too bad this doesn't apply to work, would be great to get paid for 3 months off).

YouTube. Forgotten Weapons, Minute Science, Weberverse, etc, etc. I’ve got some very eccentric tastes...

    Take a break.
Maybe try live action: I recommend Xuan Yuan Sword 3

You can also volunteer. Get a new hobby.
    Or write your own stories.
It's cathartic, look at Shield Bro

dont go outside... though the graphics are ok, its a dangerous world, there are people out there... and beasts everywhere.

just take a nice good nap. Try a different genre of what you normally read.
