It starts of as the mc being a slave he has potential then a evil mage sees him and uses him for an experiment to advance the mages knowledge of shadow magic. Shadow magic had died out due to the shadow god being dead. Mage thinks mc died because of the experiment throws out cropse into a dessert then mc awakens his shadow powers and vows vengeance. Think he calls himself luceifer
Doesn't he join an academy and find a talking weapon that teaches him to disguise his powers, I think it might be called The Mage Hunter cause the prologue starts with him listing a bunch of nicknames people called him but he said that the most important one is Mage Hunter to him.
