I mean I do love LXC but if I must say, I didn't agree or like that he said (or even think) the only mistake Lan Zhan made was Wei Ying... That's *ouch* And to be fair, LXC, the only mistake you ever made was trusting JGY but ..... There's nothing wrong with that because it's what makes us 'human'... You trusting JGY in the end have ultimately hurted you. I appreciate that LXC made this clear for Wei Ying, but that one line just hurts... Ahhh Wei Ying, you're not a mistake!!!! it's because of you being in Lan Zhan's life that made Lan Zhan developed into a better person in the end, someone who isn't all about abiding by the rules, honestly Lan Zhan going against his own sect to protect Wei Ying is what makes me love him more to be honest...!! The 'you were the only mistake he made' part has been spiralling in my head for hours now... Way too intense but still just right, now added to MXTX's collection of knifey knife knives...
I felt like with how MXTX made LXC said that 'you were the only mistake he made' felt like a reflection of how LXC feelings about this deep down and now bringing this out in the open... Also in reference to his views in the wangxian relationship, but in the end, LXC just accepted Wangxian for his brothers happiness. I don't know since I always felt like LXC understands his brother Lan Zhan's feelings and so when he said that to Wei Ying, it felt kinda ooc, because I can't imagine him saying it. LQR on the other hand, I definitely see him saying this so if LXC was quoting what his uncle said/think than I will be less salty.. I just wish he didn't say that, but I guess it's understandable from his perspective because he was angry at Wei Ying as he thought he was playing with Lan Zhan's feelings. MXTX sure have a way to pull at our touching spot, but like you said it's intense, but just right. Just from a fans perspective, it hurts XD, and I don't agree with what LXC said since I don't see Wei Ying is a mistake in Lan Zhan's life.
