That's actually one of the positives for me a (somewhat) realistic depiction of a dog eat dog world. I think some people forget that it isn't exactly out of the ordinary for our world a hundred or so years ago or even today in some parts. Writing a world like that and still being able to inject realistic literal laugh out loud moments of comedy is a sign of a very talented author.

As a big fan of Andur's work, trust me on this: There is no real drama in any of his works. Light drama at most in a few but even then it's not a big deal unless you're super hypersensitive to anything even vaguely approaching drama.

To OP: I would also, to you, recommend Andur's works. He's one of the longest lasting authors on RRL, his stories are well written, of good length and the characters are very enjoyable.

    I recommend the wandering inn.
It's a really, really good story and is a cut above the rest. Plus, it's really long and will keep you reading for days or even weeks depending on your speed

Like lewd images? Cause I recall at least a few stories on there that went pretty ham on the sex scenes. Mirikon stories for one.

Wandering Inn is good but it has too many interludes. While some of the interludes are fucking great like the Geneva, Zel, adventuring, Antinium, and Hobgoblin there's a significant portion that suck. The interludes suck even more because they go on to have 5+ chapters each. The author knows where the story's going, it's just that she wants to tell a lot of it.

Metaworld Chronicles is also planned very well. The author explained that she cut out a competition that was going to happen ~chapter 80 because then it would be repeated by the time the MC goes to the Military/University. Story's currently at Chapter 227 and the MC is training up for it. Mind you that's ~2.5k pages of content later.

I can recommend you to star for Until Death? is a lot of fun, it has some Drama like MC father dying and he learning that his older siblings got assesinated by the oposite country, but its mainly a comedy with a lot of crazy figths.
Now Cous? that is a little more heavy in the drama department but Andur mainly makes his works comeddy so it won't be boring.

    Is "Epilogue" a title ?
Does "The good student" have romance ? Someone spoiled that MC is not ambitious and got no idea about his future + refused the invitation of some arch mage.

    Abyssal Dungeon
    Dragon Heart Stone Will
    The Queen’s Hound.

Abyssal Dungeon has quite a bit of depth and has a good pacing to it. It’s also quite a Long novel aside from those already recommended.
Dragon Heart Stone Will is pretty much your standard wuxia with western settings. Pretty okay overall but doesn’t have anything making it distinct from the other wuxia novels out there.
The Queen’s Hound is more of a laid back novel, simple yet fun to read.
None of them would ever blow your mind like Forty Millenniums of Cultivation did though.

Don't think you'll find any there, cuz these are webnovels, basically novels from amateur authors. Though there can be gems, aka well written works.

Anyways, from your opening post, the only one that really comes to mind is Mother of Learning, where the author foreshadows later events at the beginning, using prophetic dreams, that barely gets any mention.... Though there are later reveals that draw from past chapters too, like the latest one, using Zach's actions.

PS. For some reason I feel like the post is just a promotion.

    True Star

(THIS IS LIKE A VERY GOOD STORY, MAYBE ONE OF THE BEST, CAUSE THE STORY IS ABOUT ACTING/BEING AN IDOL/CELEBRITY. AND FOR ME, I THINK THE AUTHOR REALLY KNOWS WHAT SHE'S/HE'S WRITING ABOUT. LIKE ALL THOSE SCENES AND SHOWS AND MATURITY, THIS IS THE BEST AND IS DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY NOT BL)
