Wrong hair color There are some good manhua out there, like solo leveling. The art is just simply gorgeous
hmmmm Roland is capable of crushing iron chains with 1 hand..... already confirmed to be going for it's own original path from just seeing this........ not as bad as Hail the King since all important males turned female and females got rejuvenated
Anyway, even though I'm slightly disappointed, I'll still read it. But please change change the hair colour and make Roland looks less like a douchebag. And Carter is supposed to be handsome. That's not handsome at all....
That is the prologue, I don't think the prologue should be taken seriously as cringe worthy as it is. Chapter 1 is how it goes normally and we will see his true reaction when Chapter 2 comes out. But even then Chapter 1 was a bit meh so far.
Well I alone level up Manhwa was quiet decent in my opinion or atleast the art was This is just hard to stomach really, it's average at best
I just saw the manhua and it's disappointing me so hard. Aside from the wrong hair color, the Border town looks clean and a bit prosperous (with those multiple copy-pasted two-floor buildings lol). I'm looking forward the donghua more now.
To be fair, that is the town square is it not? There were nobles and merchants visiting border town outside of winter. It also isn't uncommon for merchants to have 1st story for store and 2nd story for living. We'll have to see how the town looks outside of town square to judge.
First off, when Chen Yan first opened his eyes, he said that what he first saw were small brick houses surrounding the square. Second, the goods produced by the town are directly exported to the Longsong stronghold so no merchant will be willing to travel to Border town. It is even pointed out that no transactions happen in Border town. Third, Border town doesn't have walls that's why they have to evacuate every winter because of the town gets overrun by demonic beasts during Month of Demons. Building wooden housing with 2 floors is a waste of resources because it has the huge chance of getting easily destroyed by the monsters compared to small brick houses. Fourth, Border town barely have food resources and with the threat of demons every year, no noble nor craftsman will be willing to stay at Border Town. Fifth, Border Town roads were not yet paved before Chen Yan transmigrated so the town should have filthy muddy roads. Kingdom building is the best part of Release That Witch and not properly showing the progress just strips away the good part of the novel and thus a big fail for me.
The 3rd sister is a military Spoiler: Garcia fleet admiral that commands strong naval force why is she wearing highschool-like uniform?
Plot-wise, it follows the novel but art-wise it does not. I don't mind bad art but at least make it consistent with the novel. I'm disappointed by Roland's black hair and generic border town that doesn't go with how the border town was described the novel. The progress of Border town into a kingdom was one of the best things in the novel.
