Inuyasha. Watched it on Animax, the only anime channel on our cable network back then. It introduced me to the channel and anime.
First one I watched was Akira back when Syfy Channel was SciFi Channel and they aired anime in the evening on Saturday. Also remember watching Roujin Z and a few others at that time.
He was the typical Japanese beta MC. They've become even worse over time. I'm pretty sure that goes on my list of read it before the anime was made. That list is so extensive that even now when I don't read that many JP light novels there are still things that come out every season that I read years ago.
hehehe P-Man, Doraemon and Wedding Peach I forget which one I see first what great time to be a kid many children anime aired on local tv
First movie I saw: Panda no Daibouken. First anime series: I think it was either Maya the Bee or Spoon Obaa-san. I don't remember.
The original Sailor Moon of course. *sigh* Those were good times. Gotta marathon the entire show one day.
+1 for Inuyasha Only anime I remember actually liking in my childhood. I stayed up late watching it on Cartoon Network's late programming. Spoiler: Confuzzled Was confused about Sesshoumaru + Rin char as a kid. (Still am). Were they like father + orphan?? I guess I missed the ep when they met, so I was always confused about why he keeps a rando girl with him when his personality is like that.
Well I was also young back then and didn’t question it. Later I rewatched it and yes Spoiler She basically took care him once or twice when he was heavily injured. Later she was killed in some attack. Sesshoumaru saw this and took out his death sword and cut off the death goblins or whatever. So basically he revived her and was the only one ever kind to her so she followed him always.
First I saw was likely either Sailor Moon or Moomin as a kid. First I saw in proper order was Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, although heavily censored version. First I saw knowing what anime is was Berserk(1997), and is what got me interested in anime and manga in general.
Most probably either Pokemon or Digimon. Although I think that it would be better to ask what is the first subbed anime that people watch to get more interesting answers.
First? I'm not really sure, it was between Chibi Maruko-chan, Detective Conan, or Hell Teacher Nube. As for subbed anime, I think it was Death Note or Gundam 00.
