Adventurers Guild Adventurer's Guild - Event Hall

What happened? wondered Alex while he woke up, he tried to stand but some weight made it difficult for him, he turned and saw a a board on his back and a rock next to him. Looks like this rock knock me out at the beginning.

He checked his equipment and looked around but not seeing anyone fighting close, he decided to climb to a roof to get a better view.

OOC: did it already end?

 

After he got to the roof and looked around, Alexander found out that the fighting was ending, in some places he could see people helping the wounded and in others he could see adventurers chasing people he assumed where the attackers.

Not long after he found some a group of three cultists running trough the alley next to him. They looked like passersby but also very nervous and one of them looked wounded. If they were adventurer they would go to the guild not towards the gate.

Having decided they were enemies, Alexander waited for them to pass before quietly going down. He aimed with his bow and charged [Piercing Arrow] it would only get to of them but it was enough.

The arrow flew and pierced to of the cultist before they knew what hit them. The third one was surprised and luckily it was the injured one. Alexander aimed with his next arrow and fired again, this time the arrow arrived as soon as the cultist turned piercing him in his neck.

Looks like training accuracy worked thought Alexander while he checked if the cultist were still alive. Not finding anyone else suspicious, Alexander chose to go towards the guild and see if he could help more.

 

(~^o^) the baby kept on trying to hug the stuffed toy looking thing.

 

After the Golem fell, the cultists fell in disarray... Even their ultimate weapon ended up causing relatively minor damage... What were they supposed to do now?

Some panicked and started running, others surrendered on the spot, and others... Refused to give up without a fight of course, such was the case with their leader. As well as his close aides.

Were they strong? Certainly? Were they capable mages? No doubt. Did they have much mana on them? Not really. Are they in peak condition? Definitely not. Are they more dangerous than a flaming golem? Absolutely not.

Somehow though, they seem to have a victorious grin in their faces... They know, they know that the damage they caused was enough, that whatever was being planned was absolutely ruined by their destruction of the church... Even if it was partial, there is no way they could've cleansed the curse, absolutely none.

Meanwhile in Ophelia's temple.​

Soren was making the last arrangements with the Mother Superior... She and her best healers would conduct the cleansing, while he would channel it to the Holy Symbols and Flowers spread throughout the entirety of Nagrand.

The cultists made a fatal mistake, fooled by the festival to Ralditorias, they forgot a simple issue... Lord Ralditorias is not a healing god, he is a warrior... Surely there are people better suited for the job of removing a curse.

Using the Holy Water taking directly from the Lake of the Ancients as their beacon, the ritual started, a divine light shone at the Holy Pot, soon raising upwards, then spreading to the whole temple, and soon after to the whole town... What effects it had? Nothing one could notice at first glance... But it was there, it was definitely there, the Curse was being cleansed, nobody else would die today, and there was nothing the cultists could do about... They were too late~

Back at Ralditorias' Church.​

The cultists laughed. Laughed in self-derision. Laughed at their lack of foresight. Laughed at their failure... Even if no one else could, they could definitely feel their own curse being removed... They could feel how useless their struggle was.

They honestly felt like giving up, but it would be a dishonor to their deity to go down without pushing themselves to the very end... And so they will fight, fight a fruitless battle, a battle they have no chance of winning, a battle they will achieve nothing from.

Raid is Over... Kinda.​

• The biggest numbers within the cultists are gone, but some remnants are trying to escape or fight to the death, get rid of them, will ya?
• Thieves made use of the situation to ransack homes... Wouldn't hurt to get rid of those pests now, would it? Before they exit Nagrand and all that~
• Wounded people should be spread all around the town, rescuing them and taking them to the temple to get proper healing wouldn't hurt~

Raid will properly end in about 24h, feel free to write your aftermath and whatever you're doing in the cleanup~

 

Alex was running towards the guild when he heard a scream to his right. A woman tried to recover a box that one man was trying to take. The man didn't want the woman to make more noise and alert the guards so he punch her in the face.

Anger rose inside Alexander seen the woman fall to the floor and screamed "STOP!!" to the man. The man turned and when he saw the adventurer get close he panicked. He started running without looking back.

But running from an archer was a bad choice and more so if you show him your back. Alexander did not want to kill the man so he aimed and arrow to his knee.

The arrow pierced the man's knee and he screamed while he fell. Maybe because of the fear of prison or the adrenaline, the man tried to stand up to escape. But Alex would not aloud that.

He charged his mana on the arrow and fire a [Retreat Arrow] just behind the man. When the arrow arrived, a wind current was created that pushed the man to the floor again and this time he did not try to stand up again.

Seeing the man not moving, Alex turned to the woman to see if she was alright. I will have to find some guard after I help her, to deliver that bastard to where he deserves thought Alexander while walking towards the woman.

 

A black market dealer accidentally stood on the unconscious Phinimimilomimo and looked to see what he had stood on. Seeing a fairy beneath his foot, he picked her up and put her in a bag, before running into a dark alley.

Alexander was walking towards the guild after helping the woman and deliverying the man to a passing guard. I think I could shorten the path thorough this alley though Alexander while turning in the corner.

*crash*

Alexander landed on his butt after crashing with some man carrying a bag. The bag opened when it landed on the floor and a little fairy he meet on the first day rolled out of it unconscious.

Alex was so shocked that he didn't reacted until the man tackle him again. Anger took over Alexander when he realized that the man was trying to kidnap his friend. He punched the man to trowing him away from him. he chased him and this time he tackled him.

Punch after punch, Alexander did not stop up until he remembered the fairy was still unconscious in the floor. He turned, cleaned his hands and lift her on his palm and tried poking her to see if she could wake up.

Phinimimilomimo's wings were battered, her left arm bent in an unnatural position and her face was bruising and puffed up, along with singed hair and clothes. Unfortunately, the little fairy was completely unconscious and needed medical attention.

Having split up from Ryu (@Arexio) may had been chasing a cultists down the alleyways, as she finished the cultist off she looked over to see phi on the floor hurt.

"what happened?!"

 

]"She looks badly hurt" said Alex in panic "Do you know some healing magic?"

 

May shook her head
"I don't know any magic, the healers at the tavern or the priests can help! Quickly, follow me the healer is this way!" without waiting she jogged towards the nearest healer. @Nahrenne

 

Alexander started running after May while taking care not to move the fairy to much. "Do you know What happened?" asked Alexander with a sad face "How is she like this?"

 

(?.?) "how would I know? I just got here!" she turned left and pointed forward "the healer is in that building!" she turned around and attacked the two thieves That had been trailing them.

"go!"

 

Alexander entered the building calling for help while ignoring the battle sound from outside. There were many injured inside so he made his way between towards the healer and asked to please help his friend.
"Poor little lady" said the healer (OOC: forgot her name) "Leave her to me and go outside to stop that noise please".

"THANK YOU!" screamed Alex while looking at his friend one last time, he turned around and ran towards the door to try the help May.

 

(+. +) may slashed forward at one of the thieves incompaciating them, then accidentally threw her sword causing it to cut off the others third leg.

When the other thieves saw that, they ran for their lives leaving a dazed may to look at her sword wondering how to clean it now...

 

For the next few hours, the healer devoted her time to heal the poor injured fairy. Due to her small size, not much Mana was needed for the areas afflicted, meaning the overall healing process was shorter than if the injuries had been on a human. Waking up in a bath of nice smelling water filled with healing energies, Phinimimilomimo stretched her arms and smiled before yawning.

"Mm, Fris~! I feel so refreshed, Fris~! Hmm, Fris?"

Looking around, she saw she was in Ophelia's Temple instead of near the Church of Ralditorias. Seeing tons of Sisters busy treating wounded people, the little fairy flew out of her bath and twirled around in the air to dry off. She then flew out of the Temple to see what was going on right then.

When Alexander arrived outside he just found a girl looking around with a bloodied sword. "Are you okay?" he asked

 

"I was able to chase them off for now, let's see if phi is alright now-" seeing phi fly out May yelled "phi! Are you okay?!"

 

"Hmm, Fris?"

Hearing what sounded like May nearby, Phinimimilomimo looked around and saw a bloodied looking May with a sword dripping red in her hand.

"Okay, Fris? Did something happen to me, Fris?"

The little fairy tilted her head, a little confused about what must have happened to her.

"Phini!" said Alexander while relaxing "I'm glad you are ok. Luckily I crashed with the man that was trying kidnap you". Alex clenched his fist while remembering the guy he left injured in an alley
