I was reading a novel- can't remember it was on RR and in private mode to boot, and there was this MC which was a merchant, weak af but tons of gold, some organization from the second most powerful country put a bounty on his head (it was a silly mistake- he [the merchant] resembled the guy that was supposed the murderer of a princess), the merchant finds out and puts a bounty on the King's head, the prices go waaaay up and tl;dr, king goes deader than dead. I found it funny. Any similar novels were money buys happiness or MC is a merchant with deeper pockets than we will ever had- better yet, the name of the novel?! T_T
the beginning of Everlasting Immortal Firmament, though I think that the novel probably turned into absolute shit after MC became a cultivator
Passable shit, shitTY, or unbearable shit. Why am I reading this?! Thanks! Could you give more background? Sounds interesting.
Didn't read far enough to find out, but the whole face smacking, arrogant bastards picking fight with MC for no reason, MC being underestimated and then amazing everyone etc. started happening so I just dropped...
Oh, I see. Disappointing indeed. I don't even care at this point. It is too damn common I just don't bother ranting or complaining. Just, move on. Cliches in writing are cancerous. More so in Chinese writing.
For the Black Card novel. Basically the mc have to spend money to survive and he sometimes get other abilities. I haven't read it in while so I do not remember it properly. You can check out the reviews and summary on the NU page.
