LOL, an author needs to adapt this into his misunderstandings-themed novel. I feels you OP

Oh no, it's a huge problem. How dare them call the bad guys "black"? And what about “颠倒黑白”?“路人转黑”?“黑子死全家”?You are so screwed, China...

Wouldn't it be considered racism when the term 'black' immediately refers to those of African descent, instead of the actual color, and the subtle nuances that are associated with said color, and not the ethnicity, especially when translated from a different language?

I hope these kinda threads don't become more the norm. OP's post reads like a poorly worded rant about libtards ruining everything from T_d.

If all above is true, yea, its not the TLer or the Chinese author being racist. Its the TLer not understanding correctly. Not sure I would blame the TLer on it if they do it by mistake cause it means Chinese is probably not their main language and thus have a worse understanding of it.

It does potentially clear up a few things to me. I remember reading some chapters and I was like "man, chinese really hate black people". If above situation is the problem it wasnt the author but potentially a translation mistake.

From a bystanders point of view, OPs linked thread has hurt him and feels its an attack on the Chinese. (Considering his profile post)

In short, hes disgusted about the comments on said thread which does criticize not just the novel but China in general.

I don't know what you guys think about China, but I can tell you as a fact that China isn't exactly "diverse." There are not that many black people in china. In China, there is mostly Chinese people. When I visited Shanghai, the only black people I saw were two black dudes dunking on Chinese dudes at a pro basketball game. As there is a lack of black people in Asia, what most Asian people assume about black people come from American and western culture. This "racism" in China is a reflection of how western culture has warped black people. Now I am not just taking a jab at China. As a Korean, I can say that unless your a famous basketball player or actor, if your Black and in Korea, they will treat you like an alien.

Seriously are we gonna see the first SJW in this website? f*ck mate stops getting offended by the racism unless they have the intention of personally harming someone (NOT F*CKING FEELINGS I DON'T GIVE A F*CK ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS) physically, now if you don't want to get offended something on the internet then get the f*ck out.

A trend I've noticed is that any thread alluding to China in any way, shape or form seems to devolve into a China denouncing/bashing occasion.

I wonder if it's just NUFfians being up to their usual mischief, some NUFfians who China unwittingly screwed over in some manner who bear a grudge, or just plain racism aimed at China's Chinese (this distinction is important)?

First day to the English internet? They do this all the time. It's just fun to see one here in an Asian novel aggregation site, caused by a ridiculous translation mistake.
