May thought he looked kinda cute as she passively listened to him.

 

Deanna takes a glance at him for a second before raising an eyebrow. She decides that she will ignore him. She turns away from and starts to snack on her cream puffs.

 

Ryul rambled on incessantly, inwardly glad to have a victim someone that will actually indulge listen to him.

He felt a large presence sitting down next to him but paid it no mind as he was busy detailing the differences in culture between ice druids and normal druids to poor old May.

 

Hearing the half-elf mention ice druids, the orc's ears prickled as he finished his fourth pint. Waving at Pierre to send more drinks his way, he put a hand in his trouser pocket and took out 2 silvers, showing his intent to drink for a long time. After he received his fifth pint, the orc turned to look at the half-elf who was talking fervently about something, and began to scrutinise over his looks.

"Not bad." He said to himself, before noticing a female orc coming up to him from the back of the tavern - figuring it would take her a few minutes to reach him due to the crowd.

Hearing the tiny voice of a human girl, the orc changed position to see May.

"Hello, human! What's your name? Mine's Urlagrod!"

He moved his arm out to shake May's hand - pushing past Ryul to do so.

"eh?! Er~ mines may~" she was surprised but shook the strange orcs hand back "hello mister urlagrod~". (~^.^)/

 

Ryul saw that he had lost his audience to the large presence next to him.

He also slightly frowned at the rude behavior from this "Urlagrod" fellow.

 

Lethe staggered into the tavern. Sleep hadn't been an option the past few days so he felt like a half-thawed once frozen waffle-- that is to say, not good. He barely managed to reach the two people he knew before collapsing in a heap.

Lethe wearily raised his head from where he lay when he heard the voice of a stranger from above and wondered if he had been noticed or not and needed to greet the orc.

May put Lethe on her lap and hugged.

 

"Ah Lethe, are you okay? You look quite tired."

Ryul felt genuine concern about the boy, already completely forgetting the rude orc next to him.

 

Shaking May's hand, Urlagrod let go of it and rubbed Ryul's arm where he'd hit it.

Turning to look at the half-elf, he smiled as he chugged another pint of orc ale, before holding out his hand towards him.

"I'm Urlagrod! Who might you be, handsome boy?"

Lethe opened an eye to see who had rescued him from the floor and was glad it was someone he knew for once. It was always a hassle being taken home by random strangers, even though some of them did make really good snacks...

Looking at the half-elf with tears in his eyes, Lethe uttered a smattering of barely audible words, "Lesovy, manners course, need sleep."

 

Ryul sympathized with the poor boy and allowed him to continue resting on May's lap.

Turning to the audacious orc, Ryul raised a brow as he gave the man a quick once-over.

Shaking the hand, he decided to play along, "...my name is Ryul."

He usually would say 'pleased to meet you' at this point, but he wasn't sure if that was actually true yet.

 

"Ryul? Don't often hear your folk with that kind of name. A toast to our meeting and future friendship, then Ryul! Pierre! Give the lad the same as me!"

Pierre smiled as he shook his head from side to side knowingly, before pouring a pint of orc ale and giving it to Ryul. Just as this happened, the orc girl from earlier had finally reached Urlagrod and began stroking his arm muscles.

"Hey, big guy~ Need some company~?"

Looking at the orc girl, he made a point to stare at her small chest, and muscled thighs, before looking back at the half-elf next to him and replying:
"This one's easier on my tired eyes this evening. Go keep someone else company."

Urlagrod then chugged away at his fifth pint, slammed the tankard on the table, before staring expectantly at Ryul.

Deanna silent prays for Ryul as she starts eating a sponge cake

"lethe~ rest~"

(~^o^) "woah~" may tried to copy him and slammed her mug down after finishing her water.

 

Seeing May copy his actions, Urlagrod gave her a firm nod, before signalling to Pierre to give her the same drink as him, too.

"Good on you, May! A toast with you, too!"

The orc chugged down his sixth pint, before feeling a tiny pat on his cheek (a slap) from the orc girl who then left to find someone else.

"Too weak!"

Deanna clicks her tounge in disgust at the orc’s disrespect towards the orc girl.
Her mood ruined, she get up and heads for the exit.

 

Lethe's nose twitched as he was woken up by the smell of something sweet. Taking another whiff he confirmed his suspicions: it was indeed sponge cake! While he was tired enough to possibly exploded, this sponge cake smelt magnificent and he hadn't had sweets in days. They had been banned by Lesovy-- that cruel, cruel slime.

As he scanned the room, he finally spotted a young elf munching on cake. Lethe couldn't help but stare intently as she took each bite.

But now, now she seemed to be leaving! Oh no!
