Discussion Author of “Rain” has passed...?Reason?

It’s heartbreaking for the community. Rain was one of the first Mangas I’ve read even before the LN started translating. I’m upset that I’m only finding out now when two weeks already past, I founded a article that uploaded barely today so. There’s little info. Anyone know the cause of death? This is all I could find.

I was really shock to find out. Another Kaze no stigma it seems. Another author recently passed away too, “Living in a world with cut&paste” What are your guys thoughts?

Anyone know if the CD drama is translated? Don’t know why but CD dramas are usually taken off youtube, earlier Overlord dramas have been taken down too

 

I haven't read the manga for years but I really liked it.
How unfortunate for the guy who did living in a world with cut and paste. Passing away before finishing his work and it'll probably get continued by another author and lose the same quality it had like with Zero no tsukaima if I recall correctly.
Pray for Berserk author to not pass away playing idol games.

 

Condolences , I liked kaze no stigma and was waiting for a season 2 but after months I found out that the author was dead, and now another author is dead, true Rain wasn't my favourite manga but I really liked it, then again no one lives forever

 

I'm glad you were able to find an actual article. I got the news yesterday from reading the manga note from deathtoll scans, but when i posted about it I could not find any articles mentioing anything about details

Cd dramas probably get taken down because you have to buy them, or they come with some items

I heard of an author with cancer.

It is telling that there was no cause of death.
If it was something like cancer then it would have been mentioned as it will drive sales.
But then again it might just be the family wanting privacy

 

Is it though?
Do you have any stats on that or multiple cases showing the same trend?

I know tragedy has been correlated to a pothsumus increase in sales for bands and such.
Does the same occur in this field for readership and the more specific claim of cancer.

Not saying you are wrong. Just asking what the stats are behind the statement.
