I'm quite bad with long range weapon so no archery thing unless it mean throwing knife I guess~
I feel kinda weird only use one weapon with no secondary as back up~ even for magic user who use another melee for assistance

 

I already said it looked like it. A reverse T , but its double protrusions are shaped like a Pickax's, both of which are bladed; meaning sharpened edges.

What would be nice is a farmer story, defeating beasts with his pitchfork. With a sickle as a backup.

Another farmer with a scythe. Somebody with a sharp ass hoe. And these three are like a traveling adventure farmer group.

Traveling to frontier villages imparting their knowledge and fighting the wilderbeasts.

There are lots of weapons that can hit harder than a sword, but a sword is a good choice to protect oneself - light enough to carry everyday and long and nimble enough to parry.

I'd take a two-handed axe for hitting things really hard for a warrior type, or a staff for defending and walking for a magical type.
Axe and shield is a good combo, but it's too pedestrian for a hero.

 

The only thing i can think of with your description is wuurthrad from skyrim.

 

Do you know what's a damn pick axe? The ones that dwarves or people used for mining.

 

Either a Spear or a Poleaxe and having a Dagger as backup with uses either in combat or something else.

 

Try boar spears.

 

Best weapon would honestly be a bow and a smaller pavise shield to compliment. The smaller shield so you can hold it in a melee and wreck an opponent with some kind of axe or blunt side arm.

Mounted man coming at you? Dance around you shield and shoot the dumb horse and see the enemy fall and break his bones.

Enemy on foot with shield? Harass him, his shield doesn’t cover everything.

Shieldless and unmounted*? The free target? Lol

 

Yeah something like this one, but a heavier center for when you swing it downward there's more force. Sharpened edges shaped like a pickaxe, maybe as long as the 3/4s the length of the spearhead.

 

You are wanting a pole axe then.

 

This one with a longer and bigger spear head. Copy paste the right side to the left. And a tiny bit of weight in the intersection for balance.

 

Let's see...my choices would be
Halberd (spear, axe + hammer/hook) or spear for polearm
Axe or hammer for closer fight
All above combined w/ either buckler or mid-size shield
Crossbow for long range/first strike
For two-handed ones I'll pick either a glaive or a battle-axe

 

Any weapon that give me safe distance, bow and crossbow alike, maybe also spear

 

There are pole hammers with a longer spear heads. Also you don’t need a weight in the middle. A lot of pole hammers have a heavy metal part at the bottom that also acts as another spear head. Why do you need two picks on both ends?

 

What you are looking for is either Pertuisane or Corsèque (Chauve Souris) depending on how much leaning you want in the protrusions.

 

In the rare occasion I'd have to use it to swerve sideways to create space in the middle, for an opening or there's an opportunity to attack someone in that angle. One can never be careful. Also in preparation that I break the other end.
