I don't go with the colorful utopian style, or the darker dystopian one... But it i get to choose, I'd lean to dystopian more as it kind of depicts human society (some good ones)... Colored or Black & White...

Perpetuity, at least it offered change at some point. It's more likely to be changed by some other perpetual event in the far distant future. Intricate or simple? Sorry for no quote, I think I misunderstood exactly how to do it.

Epilogue. The prologue can help make the beginning make more sense, but you can get most if the story without it. The epilogue may change the entire story though. It leaves can leave way more impact, or at the very least let you know what the characters did after the story was over. Plus by the epilogue I'm desperate for the book to last longer P.s. thanks for tip, I thought you had to hit quote... Driver or passenger
