Well... they say it is a piece of SJW crap. Since there are no interesting movie right now (except this because I am usually satisfied from watching marvel movie). purely from character, plot, BGM, CG quality, music, etc. (except the actor/actress, I don't really care who starred what) how is the quality? Is this movie worth watching?
Movies fun, Furys the best. Youre mixing the comics and the movies. Comics are SJW shitholes while movies are entertainment. They did change Mar-Vell though.
Nope not worth for me, it doesnt looklike sjw tho? Its more of introduction to cap marvel and just about investigating her own past, its not the thanos sequel you've been waiting for.
If you're gonna watch it, think of it as a stand-alone movie. It retcons at least 2 things and breaks continuity in some others.
the start is a confusing mess with loads of flashback, they stop scenes randomly for throwaway jokes. the worst thing is that after captain marvel it is almost impossible to use secret war plotline in the MCU nevertheless as a stand alone movie it's decent, as a whole for the mcu it is a mess of a retcon
Not the best, but not the worst. But the feminism feel and the actress (brie larson) attitude is the problem and not worth it to me
Not really an MCU fan or movies in general, but I think you will feel left out when you skip this movie, because that's the fun part about the MCU you can not watch all of it but it's more interesting if you did watch all of it.
To be honest it was a great movie, better than most and equivalent to any Marvel movie where they introduced a new hero. To me it was on same level as Black Panther or Ant man. I'll admit Brie Larson feels a little weird time to time whole movie but not noticeable if you went to enjoy the movie instead of being a critic.
In the technical department, it's serviceable. Not the most creative in the cinematography part but action scenes that involve planes are great. Fight scenes are a bit messy and lacks some punch (pun intended). Story-wise, it's good and fun but average but it's almost a tier above most superhero origin story. But it's an origin story so it's super predictable. Is it an sjw crap? No. It doesn't beat your head with any social issues. Nor it tells you that women are superior than men. But it is a lighthearted adventure of a kidnapped superpowered amnesiac who rediscovered her past, fights through stockholm syndrome, and beat the crap out of her kidnappers. Overall, as mentioned above, it's a filler in a series and is serviceable in its intended purpose.
The who SJW thing was more of a minor influence on the movie itself. It’s there, according to people specificily trying to find it, but again, it would need to be specifically searched out. It isn’t SJW heavy as a film. The marketing for it, however, was very SJWish heavy. That’s where most of the issue of SJW comes from.
