Question SO slightly confused !!

So, what happens to a book that is dropped by QI? are there any chances someone else picking it up?
After all, they're not really helping by dropping and then locking it up !!

Any ideas welcome, sorry If I'm in the wrong place. Rarely do I end up making a thread like this.

I don't think there would be many who're willing to translate a novel from qidian tbh

As far as I've seen many translators refures to deal with qidian's bs after they find out they're translating their novel

But maybe they'll pick it up once again once there's enough request from readers..?

 

Joy of Life restarted recently. No such luck with MAM and Pursuing Immortality so far, though MAM is rumored to be in the works. So it's a possibility, but ...

As usual on QI, their communication is gutter-tier. So you just pray some group will continue, or that the previous group picks it up again. The only thing you can do is maybe keep commenting there, or post a pick up thread on the QI forums.

 

Doubt it, they killed a novel called the dark king , It's had plenty of requests for a long time but never got picked up again.

 

It may be pointless but I go spend my spirit stones on those novels first. Hoping to revive them.

 

If they dropped it , they got sued for copy right infringement? lol. Maybe author rage quit and stopped writing for them? Not enough revenue coming from their MTL? It's a mystery.

That's why I'm teaching myself Chinese. I'm tired of getting into a story and then translations stopping. I'm just very slow learning it.

 

Once you're going with that (learning language needs dedication, like a train that moves and dont stop)...

your next challenge is finding the raws. Those QI raws are locked too unless you look.

a sorcerer's journey got dropped long ago. Now Fishing hasn't been coming up lately.

 

Either learn the language to read the raws yourself if you can find them or hope a translator who makes no money at all from translating would pick it up that way they can try to dispute any copyright claims since it would be non-profit. Not many other choices.
