Ohhhhh after rereading the whole series, i discovered something regarding the yandere princess's story:

She was cursed to die in a predetermined time. That curse was also the origin of Empire's founding. Either the curse was the side effect of the dragon bloodline or something, that makes the emperor's bloodline powerful by reducing lifespan or some hidden deus ex machina related to empire. I think our mc "stole" that thing(curse) from the princess but because of our mc's "wondrous" body (curse/hallucinations immune) the curse become useless. And also based on what the princess's brother(new emepror) said :
"based on the contract(Geass Roll? ) " "when he dies(mc) it will come back to us(empire) "
Ahaha and the curse he stole was actually used to create the great Arcadia sama (i suppose)

Welp before that thing happen though the princess was already considered as someone crazy with the mc. Because he also stole the fate of her dying, that was akin to adding oil to the fire. The princess have this weird excuse of" him paying the price for what he stole."

So what do you think?
1.)A tsundere way of expressing that the princess needed to reward him in exchange for saving her life or
2.) Simply to satisfy the lust of the possessive nature of our yandere princess?

Pain is a good motivator but the intensity of training for the lunatic trio is far apart from study hell. At least the students had allies(sometimes) and the advantage in numbers(sometimes). The lunatic trio couldnt even trust each other.

you forgot another large factor, time. How long each group spend with MC, the devil god. It is a large overlooked factor.
