    正妻，平妻，妾室

    I was thinking about calling 正妻 official wife and 妾室 concubine, so i'm stuck with 平妻

    Maybe like a secondary wife? I agree with Miki, it's a wife that has the same authority as the main wife

    Soooooo, maybe write it as second wife ? I don't think there exist a special english term for a bonus wife.

    If you're interested in a made-up term, Deputy Consort would be a good title. Consort meaning spouse and deputy meaning 2nd-in-power.

    Edit: This only really works if there's up to two, anymore than that and you'd either have to make up more titles or resort to a generalized naming scheme.
