NU LINK Spoiler: Synopsis Insane. Traitor. Terrorist. The title given to Joon-young, a soldier who fought a lost war. Performing the most devious last stand befitting his titles, his memories were sent to another world. Now named Isaac, he seeks to live out his days in relative peace. But with his family wanting him dead he is sent to the Campus, the Empire’s greatest centre of Education, in hopes that he would be expelled and tarnish his position as the heir of his family. He is told that the school will treat him as if he doesn’t exist, that he isn’t protected by its rules. But Isaac, or Joon-young, sees it differently. There are no rules to hold him back from getting what he wants. I really enjoy reading this novel rn, the mc is the type of person who uses his wits compared to other main characters. Also the teddy bear!
I like the series, though I kinda skipped in the middle, like the part in the korean war and love the part where he screws with people in campus.
Personally, if they give a good release rate, i'm happy. (They mentioned 3-4 a week, with one guaranteed on fridays)
I'm out of chapters... What's an addict gotta do to deal with this? Sleep? Hug a teddy bear? I got no money to pay ahead too. I'm starting to feel like Issac myself...
Even if you could pay ahead, they don't have sponsor chapters for this particular novel, so it wouldn't help quickly
Supersize you? (Points if you get the obscure ref) Oh yeah...this is the bitter, cynical antihero I really enjoy. Let’s hope the author keeps the edginess!
Poor student council president...I’m sure this will be a scheme to make Machiavelli turn green with envy..
This arc should be titled the Schrodinger's student because he's both a student and not a student of the Campus/College. It depends on the people in a position of power if he's a student allowed to use the resources and facilities of the school on that day or not. And it is really unfair for Isaac to graduate with some high honors while lounging around (aside from doing business) while other students had to experience hell in their studies so I sympathize with them. I do think his whole situation in that school is bullshit btw. For a school that prided itself for being the best quality school that there is, making Isaac graduate just like that is a complete and utter bullshit and should be regarded as an insult to their dignity as a great school. Oh well, let's not think too much of it and just enjoy Isaac's schemes. (It's also bullshit how the Committee of the Campus/College can't think of a way to break Isaac's monopoly. What the fuck are they teaching their students in that Administration school if they can't retaliate against a simple monopoly. Oh god I should really stop being so nitpicky.)
Just started reading, is there any mention of what happens to earth after he dies? like did the nuke wipe out half of the KR peninsula?
One would hope so...we might get info later on it, but currently it is a mystery. Author might go for irony...MC is hailed as a hero after his death on earth. There’s also that saying...”treason is only a matter of dates.”
