I'm currently watching "Love Death + Robot" on netflix, for those of you who don't know it's 18 storys (anthology) based in different future (or one with a different past) IMBD say: (For the moment I'm at half of the story) Personally I love it, each story draw me in, I would love to have some of them made as a film. Though Some of them weren't that great and could have been better. Anyway, I wanted to ask your though on the series, did you love it ? Like it ? Or hate it ?, Would you like more story ? etc etc EDIT: I just finished all the episode , and I really recommend it for everyone, it's just really great.
No comment on the actual eps coz I don't watch Netflix but the trailer was well made. If you (the reader) have not seen the trailer, try it.
I didn't see the trailer, but is it adapted from a novel ? And I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be too ard to find it for free online, I really recommend it, it's far better than I though it would be be it art or story. (Actually I though that the first episode was with real actor at the beginning, not something animated). Well yeah there isn't robo-necrophilia but hey, you can see some robot getting getting fucked by cat, isn't that cool ?

Dark and edgy is what I call it, but I believe Cyberpunk is also a good description of it. Trailer for others : Just one minute.
I wouldn't call it edgy though (but again I didn't see the trailer so I don't know your pov), but dark and cyberpunk are good description
Each is own taste, a saying where I live is "Taste and colours, we don't discuss it", so it is understandable.
Honestly, loved it. I love watching anthology series, and so being able to enjoy different stories, art styles, and themes was a nice refreshing way to spend a night. Plus, they were short enough that if I disliked something, I wouldn't have to watch it long. (I can get picky sometimes.) My favorite was definitely either Sonnie's Edge or Good Hunting in terms of storyline. (I'm a sucker for strong female characters!) But I also loved loved loved Zima Blue's introspectiveness, and it just had me mindblown by the end of it! So good! In terms of art, I was seriously the most impressed by The Witness! The art was just so unique and I've never seen anything like it! Spoiler Suits was so wholesome, so I also loved that one. I think the only one I really didn't care for was the Dump. Not my cup of tea in terms of art style or storyline.
I'm still going through the episodes. I'm not following a particular order though. I watched - The Secret War - Sonnie's Edge - Beyond The Aquila Rift - Lucky 13 - Suits - Shape-shifters - The Dump - Three Robots - Sucker of Souls so far. I enjoyed all these episodes, my favorites are the Secret War, Shape-shifters, Suits, Lucky 13 & Beyond the Aquila Rift. These shorts have great plot lines and for some, I wish their story could be expanded on.
