    ^the title.

For me, it was when I was on [aggregator] and they had a link to an aggregator site(i didn't know then). Since I had nothing to watch I clicked on it and found a novel with an interesting title and thumbnail called The Tutorial Is To Hard. After binging through it I googled the novel's title and found novel updates. After that, I just found a bunch of novels I liked and binged. To this day the tutorial is to hard isn't even near translated.

Hm, I don't know.. my first novel was either Mushoku Tensei or Shield Hero, but I'm not sure how did I chance upon them...

Wait, maybe from that time I hang out at that anime chatroom?

I started, as many others did, on the crack-cocaine of Mad Snail's Tales of Demons and Gods. After the supply ran out, I had to find another source. I went to all of WuxiaWorld before coming onto one of the greatest dealers of all time: NU.

    And here I am now.

I was reading the LMS-manga and wanted to know if there were new chapters.
    Found the novel instead.

I cant quite remember. Was it shield hero or LMS. Actually I think it was shield hero. I was reading the manga and for some reason I couldnt bring myself to wait for a new chapter(though this could also be false). Though sheild hero WAS the first light novel I completed.

Caught Naruto when it was on TV from time to time, didnt care enough about it to keep track of when it showed > hears from cousin who's very into Naruto that you can watch it on the internet, tries that since i could watch it on demand that way > still not really into it, never really liked movies (and therefore anime and stuff like that) anyway > finds out it's got a ''comic'' version as well, which is more my thing since i love reading > never really got into Naruto but started reading a lot of other manga, pretty enjoyable > hated when a manga ended while clearly having more potential > found out about novels often further along than the manga > down the rabbit hole we go.

    My first novels were.
Mushoku Tensei and other unmemorable JP novels that died out.
Then Swallowed Star on the forum of which name I forget. Spcnet maybe?
Same with coiling dragon and stellar transformations.

Essentially I watched an unmemorable anime that said adapted for LN.
Couldn't read the LN but could read the WN and that opened up this whole community to me.

Used to read lots of manga, started reading Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka? when it came out and wanted more. Somebody had posted the link to the novel on raisingthedead so I went to give it a shot and never looked back.

Well, I was introduced to anime by Toonami (a segment on Cartoon Network) and started watching episodes online. I can't remember quite how I got from an anime site to a translated LN site, but I've always been a huge reader so once I learned I could read these huge multi-volume stories for free I was naturally all over them. NU was how I branched out to Chinese and Korean WN as well.

If I remember correctly, mine started with light novels when I found out they were further ahead than mangas. Then I got into some chinese novels on SPCNET (a step in the past and stellar transformation), and moved to wuxiaworld when coiling dragon moved there.

I'm imagining going into a shady alley and meeting up with a short man in a grey trenchcoat and him opening up the trench coat to reveal living blobs hanging doing the same faces again and again.

I was reading manga. And noticed the Shield hero series was really slow, and found out it had a light novel. Binged. And now here I am. I’ve jumped from Isekai to Otome to BL to shounen to shoujo to slice of life to more BL to cultivation to pretty much a bit of everything.
That’s how I started reading light novels! Bless shield hero!

DID EVERYONE START THEIR NOVEL JOURNEY FROM SHIELD HERO? My lord! That novel still has a place in my heart. Even though I hate Raphtalia, and how it turned into a semi harem!

I was looking for a new manga to read like 4 years ago, and one of the posts said that coiling dragon was good. So I looked it up and now I’m here.

I Remember what got me started was the manga for law of the devil its so rushed and i dont mean normal rush i mean skipping begining and middle scene and just showing end with no context to the point it made me so confused i was angry. Here just one scene out of like 4 They take him to a horse stable he says It smells like shit and everyone's face is like I just said the cure for cancer. Looked it up and found that it was a novel read it just to clear my raging confusion then kept reading it out of joy. Btw the reason they were so shocked was he was 5 years old and Had not said a single word since he was born to the point he dad offered a money prize to anyone who could get him to say anything
