Folks, What do you think of Shen tu Nantian. Will he die (be killed by Yi Yun) in this arc or the upcoming one, or will he continue to be a mortal enemy of his (Like Lin Langtian from Wu Dong Qian Kun). I feel that the latter feels more likely considering that sentient black spirit(The poison from the desolate relic) within him .
I feel like he'll be possessed by the spirit(as we've already seen possession is a thing) and the sentient black spirit will join the "bad side" using his superior talent body. I doubt he'll die, way to much pov/buildup to die so randomly.
I don't like the direction TMW is taking, it seems there are going to be 2 MC now? And they are going to be dependent to each other? Feels kinda meh.. Usually Xianxia cultivation is personnal not shared unless you're a devil, using people as furnaces..
My guess is just maybe the spirit is affiliated with the blood moon faction So, Shentu Nantian will be some kind of boss of that faction

the black spirit doesn't have sentience yet so how can it be apart of a faction? personally I hope he just dies off hes not really even an enemy at this point he gets shafted every time he comes into contact with the MC aside from the first encounter. Also why would they come out if they weren't sure or capable of handling Shen hes served his usefulness as an enemy the only thing i'm sad of is they're probably not gonna kill him this encounter of what would be the point of putting the evil spirit into him as a time bomb because IMO it's gonna take him losing control to that to make him relevant to the plot again other then a punching bag

Well for there to be a great hero....needs a great enemy,villains,arcnemesis. So its unlikely that shentu nantian will die...but he will be..but not today it will be a long way till he dies.
Shouldn't the black poison have killed him? Unless Shen Tu Nantian is completely delusional, which actually seems likely, hasn't he been getting stronger? Or is it just a long term poison? I would love to see him get instant-killed though.
...so what am I missing? Back in chapter 466: So...if the evil energy gave in and was unable to escape the Purple Crystal...why are we sure that it's still a factor?
