Apparently a new manga chapter was translated in eggscans. This time Maïne gets to know Frida and the name of her disease.
New chapter online. Now, Maïne could have her father done a wood stylus so she can show to Johann what exactly she wants.
Blastron Just announced that he is doping the WN. Essentially it would take him 10 years to catch up to current chapter at this pace and he had lost motivation/interest. T-T edit:just created a thread to pick it up. https://forum.novelupdates.com/thre...orm-ill-become-a-librarian-at-any-cost.79811/
Blastron is human. 500+ chapters to translate, 50 per year, 10+ years translating. Motivation running low = drop.
The novel is now licensed to J-Novel Club. And the official spelling of the main character is now "Myne".
[A young boy and has grandpa are chatting] "Hey grandpa! what book are you reading?" The young boy asks curiously. "Ahh this one? I've been reading this novel for about 80 years now, chapter 100 just released" The old man replies in a weary voice. The old man looks down at his Ipad 3200 and mumbles. "What a milestone" As the old man reaches the bottom of the page, nearing the end of the chapter he spots a translator note. :What's up guys, your friendly neighborhood translator TurtleSnailSlothWatchingPaintDry here, I've got a bingo game coming up lol so I won't be releasing any chapters for a while, maybe you'll see new one in about 3-5 years give or take. Well that's all for now, wish me luck! peace out~ The old man stares in disbelief before coughing up blood and keeling over dead with a look of appall and helplessness on his face.
Pretty sure this story is already around 100 chapters, and we've had pretty reliable releases from Turtle, Snail, and Sloth themed translators. I haven't read anything by a "Watching Paint Dry" translator, but i know they are out there. Edit: I may have read something by a "Watching Grass Grow" translator, or even author.
Sorry to inform you that it's getting dropped after being licensed. So now, we get to wait 3-5 years for Yen Press to figure out how to somehow 'localize' a european-middle-ages-isekai theme. YOU KNOW THEY WILL DO IT SOMEHOW.
