Yeah this is probably a trick so you have to get their launcher and then get ads for their other games, fking battle.net keeps giving me hearthstone and wow ads on my sc2 page.
Well if you really hate their launcher there might be an alternative. In the reddit post for this, which was how I originally found out about it, someone was complaining about their launcher and mentioned this multi-launcher library organizer as an alternative. I did not do more than load the page, glance at it and bookmark to check later, but it looks at all your games, separated by the various launchers and such at the very least. https://playnite.link
Yeah I know how you feel, that's part of the reason I won't touch Epic right now. I already have launchers for Steam, Bethesda, Origin, Uplay, GOG and Zenimax(TESO). Rather than increasing, I'd like to trim it down to just Steam and Zenimax.
I already have it on disk (you know, from the time when games were sold in boxes with a disk inside containing the game, not just an empty box and a slip of paper with a download code ), and on GOG without DRMs and with a lot of bugfixes added to the gamefiles. So that's nice from Bethesda for those won't never had it (and a smart move to get new people that didn't run away from their buggy launcher thanks to fallout 76) but personnally I won't go and install another launcher, I have already enough of them on my computer.
Neat. I have the game from... Reasons. But I'm good. It's fun to wander around aimlessly. I used to just buy clothes and wander around as a fancy dressed high elf in that game.
Wow. Who would've thought. Free games arent actually free. So are free food samples. It's all one big conspiracy to hook you in. Free cigarette samples anyone? No strings attached.
