I have to admit, chaos and madness are usualy very tempting elements for me but that is quite .......an unusual goddess.

Humu... Well, it's not like it's invincible armor. It's just damn hard. For a C-Ranker, it might be easy to handle, but Zoan is still an E-Ranker after all. ...rather, even if he became a D-Ranker, I doubt anything would change.

It had always been my intention to let Zoan have a wife ever since the cultist raid event by the way, so that part of that side story is not made on spot.

She is not my idea by the way. Renne was the one who had given the concepts. (Kudos to Renne) I hope I didn't let her down.
That aside I don't think that this much is "unusual". What part of it is unusual though?

 

Well for someone "chaotic" inducing lust in humans is not exactly her domain.
Madness CAN be tied to inducing lust in some sense though.......but usually it would be the domain of gods the like of Aphrodite and such.

Basically, Margery's original full name from Renne is "Margery, the Maleficent Maker of Madness". If you ever remember what Zoan's first sentences were after he had introduces Mallory, then you would remember him saying something about not wanting to talk about this goddess. Well... this is one of the reasons why.
--that aside, the trait of "lust" actually fits her. It is not stated in the side story (which I will have to fix in future side stories), but aside from madness and chaos she also enjoys corruption, activities involving debauchery, and desecrating the dead by means necromancy. (...now that I think about it, that last trait reminds me of Barbatos from Dungeon Defense.)
Anyhow, it is still within her realms.

 

Depends on how hostile the beetles are? If the beetles actively attacked those deemed as threats, the villagers would have a hard time beating them with clubs.

But yeah, them being super tough makes more sense~

I can take the river west of the mountain for 140-160 km
About 120 km on land to west and then 140 km on the larger river to south...

Walking pace of 5km/h.
Walking duration of 8h per day.
Travel duration: 7.5 days.

...yeah, that's still a long time. It'll go faster by horse, but it will still take 300 / (19*8) = ~2 days.

 

Oh. In that case I take it that we are doing 14km/h, which means that you'll arrive within... basically 3 days.

 

If the horse is walking, it will go at roughly the same speed as a human actually. Sure, it can go faster if it runs or trots, but the horse needs to be well trained for long distance travels in order to do so... And it still taxes the rider considerably.

Right... I keep forgetting that, despite having read Tate no Yuusha. I wonder why I keep forgetting that the horses in that novel were meant for transporting carriage and not for fast travel...?

One question though: What do you mean by "taxing on the rider"?

 

You ever ridden on a horse for more than one or two hours? Your butt is going to ache, and your back will be sore. Your legs as well if it was a trot, and you tried not to break your horse's back.
