after qinyun cleaned great worlds he only get 10% of the necessary merit. Then a guy from chaos invited qinyun to help them kill a beast. Including qinyun total 3 people went to chaos to kill the beast(qinyun is the strongest in the group). Heavenly dao realm people cant go to that place. There, they fought with a giant beast or smt. But there was a mysterious being there.a silver haired woman and 3 people came out to kill and capture qinyun's team. They thought qinyun is the weakest so attacked him first. Qinyun used his array to isolate the woman outside then all together they killed that 3 people. Woman is strong(probably close to half heavenly dao realm so they left her to the end). 32 more people came out of the mountain to capture qinyun and kill the others. Our guys decided to do a tactical retreat after seeing that. It turns out all of these people, giant and (probably) woman are like avatars. They are being controlled. With all the pills from the other guys and his own pills, qinyun can hold on 5 days. That mysterious being saw qinyun is very strong so it wants to control qinyun and become stronger. Qinyun's team is running and 32 guys are following. The end

u will see that merit was not enough but he got something like golden blood from the giant's body. It is similar to pangu's blood. That blood can give info about body cultivation. Even his master takes an interest in the blood. (Didnt understand exactly) he totally has 9 drop or something of it. He gave some to his master. After returning his place ancestral dragon comes to qinyun because he sensed that his way of dao is in the qinyun's hands. Qinyun asks for 3 of dragon blood crystals and look after his family for 3 generations if he fails the tribulations. Dragon accepts and get one drop blood. Later on qinyun goes to secluded cultivation for 2000 years. That blood even helps him. He works on it. After 2000 years 11th tribulation comes. Everybody watches qinyun. It is the second time someone facing the 11th tribulation in the 3 realms. Qinyun wants to show his power so that he can impress other people. He needs to go to chaos so he needs to convince them of his strength. After passing the tribulation qinyun went to ask houyi?(archer guy) to come to the chaos with him. Qinyun is first refused then houyi tells if he can endure his 9 arrows he will go. Every arrow is stronger than the previous one. Last one was at the strength of heavenly dao realm. Qinyun holds against first 8 but for last one he burns his essence? at their level burning it for some time is fine. Qinyun endures all nine of it. Houyi says he will go then they go to someone else. In MT the name was kong xuan. He says of course i will go. Both houyi and u are going how can i stay.(this guy might be the one that is thinking about going chaos at today's chapter) lastly the same wood guy is going. They left after 3 days (qinyun is at peak after 3 days). They encounter a ship. Kong xuan sends a five coloured light and takes ship away. The woman inside the ship is weird so he didnt get sucked by him. Then woman takes a dagger out and againg 5 coloured light. Weapon lost too. Woman attacks qinyun's array she fails. Wood god uses some vines to bind her he fails.then qinyun tries his moves that he used on tribulation but fails too.now the real attacker houyi shots his first arrow the woman is fine. 2nd arrow is next but the chapter ended. Sorry for the wrong info if there is any. At least u would get the main idea.

 

Are you still following the raws? Can you tell us if Qin Yun had any breakthrough or already faced his 12th tribulation?
I am a bit bored by the current plot, it feels more like the fillers that I usually skip.
After all, the author is really overstretching this merit seeking arc, I can't take another "the merit is not enough, I am still missing X%".
If after all this Qin Yun fails his tribulation... I am going to rage quit.

the woman that the other guy was talking about uses something called Heart power (i think it like heartforce from Desolate Era )just like Houyi who also start using his 9 arrow continuous firing technique he used 5th arrow to kill her they find dead body in her storage(she didn't leave a body of her own because she's made of Heart power ) ,in the mean time they get tagged by some floating island called " Boao Island" Controlled by someone called 'Boao island owner' who send someone who's called 3rd person after them who has Half-Step Heavenly Dao Realm using body Cultivation who decide that he wait from and ambush them in "Wanhua Palace") who is owned by some who's is also Half-Step Heavenly Dao Realm and who good at using formations so the "3rd person" with 5 other people(they call them messengers) arrive and hides and wait for them there catch them when (he also want to capture Wanhua dude because the Boao Island Owner also want to catch him and will be given reward if he did, but because Wanhua Palace is right next to his own Universe spatial rift he will escape if if see Island Owner somemone strong coming after him ) ,QY and rest arrive see that "Wanhua palace" has alot of formations start faking a retreat to draw out the owner of "Wanhua palace" which they did ,he start talking with them invite them for a chat and uses heart power to sway them his way(which make them feel close to him) but Houyi wake them up they ,Wanhua palace Owner is about to start fighting but Kong Xuan uses his ability to steal his weapon and forcefully teleport the Wanhua palace Owner(Kong Xuan is way Op damn) away but he escape midway than he tries to escape to the his palace but get surround by QY and rest and they capture him alive and then the 3rd person start to ambush them ,the 5 messengers use formation/combined domain to push back Konk Xuan domain then 3rd person start trying to to attack them but QY using his sword array to protect them and they duke it out for a while before he start to realize he can't take down QY sword array meantime Houyi has already on his 7th arrow of his continuous firing technique (they were protected by the formation)and took down one of the 5 messengers which broke the formation/combined domain and then killed the rest ,that 3rd knows he can't do shit to them so start escaping but QY and the rest run after him and Houyi start using his continuous firing technique again he needed 5 rounds of continuous firing technique(1 to 9 is a round) it before he could kill him, Wanhua palace owner tell them
because the Boao island owner after them he has Heavenly Dao Realm strength but he will help them if they let him go after that ,the team says nah and they will just escape to 3 realms because it close ,so Wanhua palace owner tell them i know a place called "the magic valley " that grows 3 kind of fruit one that helps restore soul after "ignition your Soul" and one can help you make a avatar without damaging something ,the last one can help gain enlightenment if you're in bottleneck ,so the team agrees and he take them and they enter the magic valley while the boao island owner is following them but he can't enter so wait for them outside because you need a token to enter
ps : to take fruits you need to break the formations or by brute force and Wanhua palace owner couldn't do either and he was afraid if he invited a stronger person he will just robe him

Summary please. From entering illusion valley

This will be a brief one. They enter the the valley using token. Island lord catch up to them and watched them enter the valley. He tried to enter by force but couldn't so he stayed outside. Inside they saw the trees and thought that if nobody entered this valley there should be fruits at the bottom of the valley. They went to check and here a voice that say leave or die. Of course they didn't leave. It turns out that there is a creature that born in that valley. The guy that made the tokens came here from outside and made that creature his slave so that creature hates outsiders. They make a deal with it. They gave the token and promised to not to come here so they got all the fruits the creature had.they then divided them amongst themselves. qinyun exchanged his avatar fruit with soul fruits(i think). after that they left and outside island lord stopped them. He said if they give him the token he will not kill them. No token no deal.they started fighting. But they stayed inside that pretty boy's palace and fought from there. By using qinyun's array and the palace's defense they hold on. Qinyun burnt his essence soul and used soul fruit i think. Houyi's normal attacks was not effective so he burnt his essence too. After burning his first attack was at the level of heavenly realm and the ninth one has a qualitative change and it was very strong. Ninth one killed the island lord. They learnt that it was an avatar so took everything and started to return to the three realms by taking a detour to prevent ambushes. That worms still following and they don't know. After some time they let pretty boy go. And they reached three realms. Worms stayed at the entrance of the space rift that connects to the three realms. After entering three realms they separated. Qinyun went back to his mountain and saw the qin family is too big.he went to his wife after that started sacrificing the bodies. He sacrificed 3 of the guys that island lord sent and merit was enough. The change was too big all of the three realms felt and saw it. His master looked at the mountain happily. The END

nothing much happened. Qinyun enters secluded cultivation after eating that enlightenment fruit and have some breakthroughs. He is done in 500 some years then did a 100+ years cultivation again to integrate those breakthroughs in his dao. He left when there were 39 years until 12th tribulation. He also wrote his sword manual with a way to become a mighty figure i think. Then he decides to take some disciples to pass his legacy down because there is no one that practice on sword amongst his current disciples or family members. With the help of biyou palace's intelligence he finds two candidates. One is a woman at the end of her life(500yearsold) and a man(200+). He took his wife and goes to ask them if they are willing to take him as their master. Woman accepts. But when qinyun asks to the boy one of the other sword immortals appears and tells that he was testing and watching the boy and he had the intention to take the boy as his disciple. So they give the boy a chance to choose his master. Idiot boy chose the other guy. Other guy tells qinyun that i have watched your new disciple before but she has heart problems(she wants to revenge her family members' death. Smt like obsession) and tried to give advice to qinyun. Qinyun waves his hand and send the guy to his world. After returning home qinyun asks his disciple about her vengeance. Then says Okay let's go kill him. They left and killed the guy.

i hate Yi Xiao. i assume this i why all IET other wifes die or have little screen time. she talks too much and it is always useless stuff already explained or facts the mc told/gave her that she feels the need to tell him like she's helping.

 

How can you hate her for talking too much when IET is the one making her talk lol.

 

Is this novel going ST way or DE way? As far as universes go? Name of the MC hints toward former but description of cultivation points toward later?

I would love it if it's set in DE world.

 

can't really say for sure, but it has heart force which is a major thing in DE plus the 3 realms and other people with the same names

 

Yeah find that pretty weird how it’s 3 realms and the names of some side characters are literally the same. But I doubt it that it will be set in DE multiverse.. IET is not gonna have two MCs who specializes in sword.

 

Reason a lot of novels have the same name for the Supreme guys and not only IET its cause its Chinese Mythology and Their Belife...
And about the Novel when it started he said he wants to try out sth new so it shouldnt go DE or St way...Unless he doesnt like it and goes that way so he can finish it faster.
