So i ha this book for a really long time in my bookmarks, as i love to read fantasy, sword and magic genre it fits my requirements quite well. Even when i have the time to read books i noticed that i'm avoiding this book. Although i like fantasy novels, but when the MC can get out and in to the worlds like an RPG then it's an MAJOR letdown for me.
    • I would like to know if this novel is like SAO. You do something and can enter this new world in and out as you like.
    • Or like Hail the king, RTW, Tales of Demons and Gods. You reincarnated in an strange land and can enter another mysterious land by equally mysterious means.
    • Or as i FEAR. You are transmigrated to an different world and can get in and out as you will, which is a MAJOR let down for me.
If its none of the above, then please do tell.
    THANKS IN ADVANCE.

None of the above. It's a Korean novel and your given examples are all Chinese and Japanese. ... This is standard Korean modern-day-people-awaken-abilities-and-the-world-is-attacked-by-extra-dimensional-monsters fare. If you know what I'm talking about, good. There you have it. If you don't, then I recommend starting with other, similar, Korean novels first. This one is OK, but mediocre. You should read it anyway - don't get me wrong - but there are better options for this type of story.

I wouldn't call it bad but...Not as good as his newest novel I suppose.

It’s a good novel. But it has its flaws. The novel is too focused on the MC and has a few things lacking. But over all it was very enjoyable to read.

But I would recommend reading the same author’s newest novel.

    The Novel’s Extra

nice color scheme. I've never read the story, but from the tags I'm guessing it doesn't have a reincarnation/transmigration mc or any sao situation. The reviews imply that it's generic and gets boring quick.

Good, but the ending was dumb.

It is a typical hunterverse of kr novel, but all gift but mc's one are not fully explored .

It's alright. It's relatively engaging but a lot of the prominent characters are pretty unlikable by the end including the MC. Also the MC starts ignoring parts of his power and that drove me up the wall. Classic unsatisfying ending as well.

it's okayish in the beginning but its starts to tumble midway. Especially all those love interests are unberably annoying. The overall story is quite a letdown too. The ending was just horrible

The novel is actually really fun to read. The only problem is that there are some stuff that was left unexplored.
Do read the author’s other novel though.

Serious point: the colors in your post are distracting. But other than that, this story is set in modern time Korea.

Monsters & creatures appear in major cities attacking humans. And humans fighting back, working in groups, forming guilds (organizations)

Pacing of the story is pretty quick if you compare it to a Chinese novel. The MC has a rough awakening, and learns hes not a normal human being. (Basically, he has monster genes) and monsters have a unique trait of getting stronger after defeating things.

It's more about dealing with saving the world and interpersonal relationships. Like the drama, is typical Korean style drama. With banter and monologues.

Theres action, but it hinges on making an impact on the supporting cast. Like being a hero for the community and that stuff.

For me, I felt like I read a Korean Drama TV show. The ending is open ended, so the author let's the reader sort of decide how they want the story to end.

Edit: it started strong in the beginning, middle was still okay, ending was alright.
