    Most of the time, it doesn't outright say he's gay. Was it the second arc? That arc, he already had a child by the time MC came into his world. In other arcs, having a relationship with the same gender is not considered gay. Even in the real life arc, it's normal to have a male x male relationship. In one arc, the MC's concubine host was supposedly raped by the emperor but it's actually the MC hypnotizing the emperor to think he raped the host. ML knew this and heard the emperor writhing too. As far as MC and ML is concerned, they didn't have any intimate relationship with others through out the story.

    Is this an anthology?


    My embarrassing stupid issue isn't about the couple being faithful.
    It's has to do with other people trying to tempt them away from each other or get in between them even it's not romantic. Even if they reject them, there was still that conflict.

    That's the kind of stuff I want to know about so I can be prepared for it.

    Nope, it's episodic. Each world is a different arc containing from 8 to 20 chapters.

    The MC and ML are a very good male specimen, there's bound to be others who wants to be a third wheel. However, none is worthy of big enough of an issue. The only one that I remember to be bothersome is the one at the final arc (real life arc) but even that is miniscule enough that it wont detract you from the OTP.

    Hi!
    I've just finished this novel and I loved it! There's no arc that I hate, maybe I just love some arc more than the others but I still love all of them. :blobmelt:

    I also loved the AU. Xue Zi Xuan :blobsob::blobsob::blobsob:
    I can't help but wonder where the author posted this AU arc (personal blog, perhaps??) because the scenes are detailed compared to the main novel. I'm not complaining, though! It's a pleasant surprise and I'm happy for XZX for having this kind of life this time.

    Now I feel so empty after finishing...:blobsob:

    So... I'm thinking seriously about translating the 3rd extra for "Quickly Wears the Face of the Devil", the one where the MC is a fox demon. It's unrelated to XZX extra that's being translated now. There's two more extras, one with a monk and the honeymoon on the beastman planet (which Kez mentioned some time ago that she is working on). I have emailed Kez, Moonlightfrost and Vanilla Muse to ask them if it's OK with them so if everything goes well I can get started on it. It's my favorite extra after XZX so fingers crossed!

    So vanillamuse and moonlightfrost have all given their OK. I haven't heard back from Kez but it seems like everything is OK. Expect first chapter soon...

    Lol ok spoilers... ZYS is in the body of a fox demon who needs to get revenge for his sister's death by the female lead in what is pretty much a reverse harem story (female lead has a lot of men etc etc). Female protagonist is a modern assassin who transmigrated to an ancient China type world and in ZYS' previous life she pretty much dominated the world. ML is the regent and super OP as usual, ends up taking in the fox demon as his pet. In his previous life, the regent (though obvs not ML's soul) was one of the female lead's men so obviously ZYS is not happy about this. Don't worry in this life ML only likes ZYS as usual however in the beginning he is not aware that ZYS is a fox demon, just thinks he's a fox but is super attached/obsessed with his "pet". There is some mild bestiality (nothing compared to beastman honeymoon extra though).... lol but soon enough ZYS transforms into human shape so they can papapa...

    The extras are all a bit more explicit than the regular arcs. Although I think author went back to add more spicy scenes to the old arcs in the published version of the book. Anyway expect lots of sex and lots of face slapping as usual.

    I'll try to update first chapter soon. Chapters are super looong....

    I forgot to say for those who don't know the chronological order goes like this:

    1) The regular arcs (translated by Kez) EXCEPT for final arc (where ML wakes up in the real world, the one where he's General Orr).
    {Extra 1 - Side story/spin off Xue Zi Xuan - not in the same timeline}
    2) Extra 2 - ML is a monk, MC is a demon cultivator
    3) Extra 3 - MC is fox demon, ML is regent (the one I'm translating)
    {The above two are pretty much just additional arcs that the author decided to add to the published ver, they are self contained arcs just like the regular ones that Kez translated, not related to each other}
    4) Final arc where ML and MC are in the real world. (Translated by Kez)
    5) Extra 4 - Honeymoon on Beastman planet.
