I have short curly hair and one time when I was getting it shaved the person doing my hair cut my ear. I still have a scar on my ear from that
I learned to cut my own hair after a scuffed haircut. The first few times I was wearing a hat constantly till it grew back, but you'll either learn real quick or find a better appreciation for a good barber.

Usually I just cut at normal indian barber but one time go to hair salon they cut my hair like shit... might as well didn't cut it... I told them to cut short but it still long
where i live here are a lot of immigrant barbers witch are cheap so I go to them but not all of them have a mastery of the local langues (dutch) so ones i was at a barber of a Kurdish person and i ask a little bit shorter (i had shoulder long hair because I hate going to the barber) and he hears shorter and the next thing i know I have a CREW CUT i never went there again
My family said the barber mess up, but I don't think it mess up too much. So whatever, the hair will grow up and I will have to cut it again.
Same here, i never ask the barber any style, i always said, " cut it short and tidy " and it saves me from many problem as for man short cut and tidy is always safe choice
I'm gonna stop going at my regular hairdresser. The reason I kept going is because they're always open unlike pretty much everyone else who doesn't work on just that weekday that I come, or they only worked in the morning, and they defintely don't work weekends. The girl that cuts my hair has no style, the boss milf does but she's either not there or cutting some old ladies hair always. Seriously she always wants to do that generic haircut kinda like which is a pain to maintain, putting on gel and fixing it multiple times a day because a few hairs let loose on the front and it looks silly.
