Non-Fic April Fools... or not.

A father physically not here for a decade or more appears out of nowhere, and wants us to settle with him in another country with his new wife. I thought fate was playing April Fools with me, until I realized April Fools was yesterday in my timezone. Sigh. I don't know what I'm suppose to feel or understand. I don't know who to support, but as my faith once said, "Either Mammon or God". Must I really return to reality? Can't I just die in lonesome peace as a NEET? Obscure sensations resonate within me, and I all do now, is play some Mozart to calm my stagnating heart. To live, but to abandon the other. I don't know if this familial love, but it seems I do at least cherish both my parents, even though I'm scum. Sighs.

Edit: There is a misunderstanding here, both of my parents have come to an understanding of sorts. They are separated but they still contacted each other due to us. It's that the father has finally arrived after a decade or more in the flesh, and really does love us. The choice is now whether I move forward with it or not, since opportunity is way higher there than here. The only problem I have is, can I own up to it? New people, places, and lifestyle. Sighs. Mother already has possibly someone new with her as well, but not yet officially confirmed like father's. Damn... being the protagonist sucks.

This is tough. If I were you, I would stick with my mom or whoever helped me grow up. But then again, I don't know your living conditions so ..

 

As for me, I don't even know that I have a dad till I was 5. I thought that my dad is dead. I grew up with my mom and grandma in village. My dad came back when I was 5 yo and it's kinda awkward at first. I think you should follow your heart

 

I may sound like a bad person but if it was me, I would stick to someone who raise me up and guide me until i grew up rather than someone who appear out of nowhere and claimed to be my dad.

Anyways, stick with your moms, she's taken care of you I assume, and rather than moving with a stranger, get to know them over time and reconnect that bond.

I can't really say much about this but I would say stick to your mother. A parent is someone who raises you, a family is someone who stays by your side. A parent that abandoned a child for their own selfish reason cannot be called a parent after all but do give him a chance I suppose to reconnect.

Stay with your mom bro don't make a mistake that you regret for lifetime. Remember she pregnant You for nine month (could be more/less if you are premature/late birth),gave birth to you while betting her life, she feed you,support you and love you alone without a husband beside her.If you leave her she would be lonely you know. So don't leave her because she would never abandon you.

I am not saying you should blame your father , he has his own problem after all. Just keep a good relationship with him and visit him once a year or something.
