Perhaps, the girl's presence is too thin, for no one responded to her. Sighing for her failed attempt, Lykke try to ask a friend this time.
"Ayumi, do you know who Zoan is?"

"Hmm? No idea who. Food?" The gourd offered.

 

"Ah..Em... I..I had eaten..." The girls said, unsure if she can refuse.

 

"Drink with us!" He patted the gobblin' Ayumi.

 

"I..I drink some juice..." Lykke shudders on the memory of extra extra sweet honey drink...

 

((I see. Okay. I wanted Fey to have one, but those two suit Ayumi more.))

 

"Bill, the juice of the day please!"

Later comes the chilled tomato juice. Having ice-user for bartender is godsent.

((Ayumi probably would be overwhelmed with two to be honest, just inquire I guess?))

 

A wooden box with small holes arrives at the tavern - carried by a postal orc - and is placed on the counter of the bar.
Bill, who was working at the bar, looks at the orc with a puzzled expression on his face.

"Delivery from Fairy Land! Here's a message from someone called Bami...Bumi? Blami?...excuse me..." He took out the envelope that was delivered with the box and read the returnee's address and name: "Ah! Someone called Bamilamilam!" Handing the envelope to the bartender, the orc smiled, before waving. "Don't worry about payment, the sender made an arrangement with the service - apparently. Enjoy the rest of your day!"

Watching the postal orc leave the tavern, Bill's handsome features seemed perplexed as he picked up the letter and opened it. After spending 2 seconds to read the entire contents, he hesitantly made his way to the box and carefully opened it. Inside, was a certain little fairy - sleeping - next to a familiar looking Rotect Jar full of nuts, seeds, fruit and money.

"..."

Sighing at the situation, but showing a light smile, Bill placed the jar back in its original place on the shelf and went back to his bar-tending duties; the letter left out on the counter:

Dear Mister Bartender, Fris,

It has come to my attention that a certain pupil of mine found her way to your establishment to have an adventure, Fris. However, it came as a surprise when - not even 2 months later - she returned to us with a sullen look upon her face, Fris. Unsure of what had happened, we tried our best to cheer her up, but her forlorn expression never changed, Fris. She was lethargic and always tired, distant and quiet, Fris.

As such, I asked her about her time away and her eyes brightened up whenever she mentioned a kind bartender called Bill Seywikh, Fris. It seems that you are held in high regard by her and she deeply misses talking to you, Fris. There was another person...May was her name I think, who also made her face light up in happiness, Fris.

Since this little one hasn't seen much of the world outside of Fairy Land, and she is still quite young, I ask that you take her under your wing - Bill Seywikh - and keep her safe and happy, Fris. I believe she should be still sleeping when she arrives, but do not be alarmed, Fris. I took it upon myself too cast a sleeping spell on her, along with adding a potion to permeate the box with a narcotic effect, Fris. It should have run out within a month of me sending her from here, Fris.

Bamilamilam, Master Alchemist and Elder of Fairy Land Council​

Phinimimilomimo - unaware of what had happened - blissfully slept in the box, still under its narcotic effects for who knows how long.

Hearing something about giving drakelings away, Fey got interested and went to the man wearing a gourd on his head.

"Fey wants one!"

 

((Who's she?))

 

"Oh? Hello there, Fey. You like the drakes?" The gourd greeted a winged kid.

 

"I do! I do!" Fey happily responded.

It did not take long however, for Herst to appear. Putting on the friendliest face he said with a gentle tone: "Little miss, you shouldn't go away from us. The food will come any time soon. Come, let's go back to our seats."

But the black feathered winged girl refused the orc, shouting: "No! Fey wants pet! Pet is cool!" She then flaps her hands in admiration, aiming her attention at the drake only.

Herst looked at Gourd with a worried expression, hinting for a help.

 

"I guess you can keep one. Can you raise it well?" The gourd asked.

 

((A bird-kin with black feathers that Zoan found a few weeks ago, she is still learning how to speak and can't fly apparently~))

"Fey can!" she said as she puffed her chest. Herst look troubled, and eventually Zoan came over as well. "Herst, what is the problem? Did Fey cause trouble?"

 

The little fairy remained asleep, no matter what external actions were taken. Bill raised an eyebrow at how powerful the drug and spell must have been for the little one to still be sleeping.

Lykke drinks the red tomato juice, unsure what was happening around her as more people gather around the table. Sometimes though, she steals a glace or two to the drakes.

 

"No trouble at all! She likes the drakeling."

 

"I see... and I hear that you are giving them away?"
The nomad then thought, 'Hm... we could raise it for a long term benefit.'
