What do “Re-Drawers” do?

Ah.

I couldn’t remember “cleaners”....I had questions about them too.

 

Re drawers are the unsung heroes. In some cases they have to put in a ton of work

 

Also typesetters are the ones who place the translated and proofread text on to the bubbles

 

While typesetters are the easiest

 

Finally proofreaders are the ones who check for crammer mistakes and make sure sentenced flow

 

One big kudos for those 1 man scanlator group(s)

Raw provider/Translator/Re-drawer/Cleaner/Typesetter/Proofreader

 

Raw provider: Not always a specific position but as the name implies they're in charge of obtaining a scanned copy of the manga. a specific person is more common in large groups

 

“grammar” not “crammer”.

 

I have done all of the roles for scanslation before so I know all the pain....
I take time to appreciate the old scans since newer ones don't usually clean off the sfx now

the most annoying to redraw are blurred things!
