Looking for a word that has similar meaning to miser but with positive connotations
I want to replace my title.
    Generous Frugal
    Generous Pragmatist

neither of the above seems like a good option

To clarify, are you looking for (a) an antonym of ''miser" i.e., a word that means the opposite. Or are you looking for a (b) synonym of miser i.e., another word that means the same and then going to put "generous" in front of it?

Because (b) isn't likely to be grammatically correct however, you can use it 'poetically' in your writing.

Even though it's kinda a good comparison, i don't understand how a person can be both generous and stingy.
    Totally what i thought.

Your answer is still confusing. Miser has negative connotations. So are you saying you want a similar word that isn't as negative? Or do you want a synonym then will try to make it sound more positive by tacking "generous" in front of it?

If it is the former, then you want a euphemism e.g. "passed away" which is less harsh than "died". Not a synonym.

Your previous answer isn't clear so I'm not sure what to suggest.

    Ahhhh.
Then I'd say your own examples -frugal and pragmatic are good. Though adding 'generous' in front of them is odd grammar. Like saying "friendly cruel" or "outgoing introvert".

    Anywho. My suggestions:
    Pennywise
    Shallow-pocketed
Deep pockets; short arms/ deep pockets; short fingers
Thick wallet; slim heart/ fat safe; skinny heart

For what it's worth. 'Pragmatist' has a nice ring to it. It sounds like strategic behaviour as opposed to emotional behaviour. Gives of an intelligent vibe if that's what you're going for. It's also not necessarily negative.

Well Doctors (medical ones) are probably what can be called friendly cruel. Errr that’s how I always feel when I go to one.
Just think of how their eyes light up when they tell you you need an IV. Ok, they do save lives (friendly) but all those medicines and operations are often painful or horrible- cruel. Plus patients actually like that cruelty. Apparently most of developed countries citizens are big Ms.
