Villain is 'Black' , out to mess things up and consume everything for greed. Hero is 'White' represents hope of others, the majority, through the sacrifices of the minority. Anti-hero is gray, does what he feels like doing for himself or ones he cares about, would sacrifice the majority to save the minority he cares for.

Villain: Wants to do evil thing and destroy/rule the world.
Anti-hero: has good intentions but does bad/evil thing to achieve it.
The end justify the mean, thats all.
The most famous example of a anti-hero is Deadpool. He killed and tortured bad people (even though those things are morally wrong) to do good things.

An MC who is villain can be anti-hero, but an MC who is an anti-hero isn't always a villain. All anti-hero means is MC's motives are not always moral ones. So an anti-hero can beat people up to get information, something a hero wouldn't do.

Anti-Heroes usually do things for the right reasons but have no qualms about their methods while villains are more self serving

Anti hero's has a morally grey to white goal while using morally grey to black methods. Villains are evil beings with black morales and goals and achieve those goals via vile and evil methods.

Heroes represent light, villains represent dark, while anti-hero represents the border between them. anti-heroes are the ones who don't stand out morally since their methods are villainous yet they do so to which they represent their own justice in a sinister way. Though sometimes they do bad in order to fix what heroes can't do, it questions their alignments which could also be mistaken as a villain.

anti-hero does good but in the way that may make people flinch.
he will kill the enemy or just do whatever he wants, with no care about the damage left behind.

villain is a villain. obvious enough

The only real 'objective' difference between an anti-hero and a villain (because everyone and their mother has a definition of their own) is that at the end of the day the anti-hero will end up saving the world while a villain would've destroyed it.

Everything else is pretty much up in the air...

An anti-hero is a hero that does villainous things to accomplish heroic goals.
A villain does villanous things for villanous goals.
An anti-villain is a villain that does heroic things to accomplish their goals.
All these are subject to varying shades of gray or definitions that depend on the character.
