    its because I'm tired of mc with harems being all arrogant and is there not arrogant they're weak and idiots, seriously they want to be strong to meet the girl they love so cliche I hate that stuff on the other hand if its a yaoi/danmei/bl novel I would read that whole thing :)

    It does there many kinds of novels where the main character doesn't have a love interest or are forbidden from having like the monk who wanted to renounce asceticism

    There are a fair number of stories with female protagonists that have little interest in romance. Like "I Said Make My Abilities Average" and "Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear." Some female protagonist stories though they end up with a lesbian harem. There do exist stories though where the male main character doesn't have a love interest or only one or two, or there is a weird twist of an "unwanted harem" where a bunch of girls are throwing themselves at a guy who finds the situation to be just an annoyance while wishing they would leave him alone.

    The World Turned into a Game After I Woke Up

    This is basically a stereotypical plot-armour heavy, OP MC rules, shoot-em up type of story. If you're after meaningful emotion and in-depth storyline, then don't read this. But for a casual read this is quite nice as each chapter moves along quickly without any fillers. Only hints at romance a few times. I don't promise anything though. I actually felt compelled to write a review about this one >_<
