I ask community why many people no like tapread? I see people complain say that tapread mtl. So? Atleast tapread is free readers no need to pay and they complain? If you no like it you can apply at tapread to help okay? Some say wrong for tapread to translate translated novels but you all know tapread have license and those sites no license okay so tapread not in wrong.
Rather than complain, why not give constructive words so tapread can know what to do? Thank you.

This is the issue I can see. An mtl getting a license when a TL doesn't get it is just not good for the community bro. And you have yourself agreed that it is mtl.

 

I personally just don’t enjoy the novels they are translating.
Maybe do a survey or whatever to see what novels people would like

 

Don’t expect people to actually do something. Some issues that arose from last years are still here, why? Go figure.

Half-agree. Their choice of series is ulter trash but Divine doctor is a really awesome ! Sure it can be a little face palming inducing like for exemple 3-4 times when MC is gonna heal someone, there is for some reason another expert that also try to heal and say MC is not useful, only to be face slapped by MC being OP / BUT IT'S REALLY GOOD ! The daughter is so innocent and sweet it's to die for !

First time hearing Tapread, jutj checked one of the top fantasy novel, one of them RSSG, but the content is actually IMDC

 

I've read late night tales of the capital. At the start was the translation quite good. It's not like a mtl at all and then suddenly I forgot at what chapter it just became trash..
I don't know what they did but quality just dropped drastically.

 

There are good MTLs, and there are bad MTLs. There's also MTLs that doesn't deserve your brain power to process the whole jumbling words that they called as 'translated'. It's up to your own judgement whether TapRead goes to which category.

They should improve their translations, either by refining their machine algorithm and even allocate some (real and qualified) manpower to properly proof-read and QCing their works. But hey, if they already did, then I don't have anything else to say further.

 

I have never read their novels to judge their translations. I wrote the stuff based on what I understood from the OP. Heck, I have never even heard about this site!

 

He specifically said its MTL. The grammar is shit most of the times.

Godly stay home dad mixes up he/she every damn chapter which is annoying as fuck. The first few dozen chapters had horrible edits. Etc.

 

Here's some constructive criticism.

Let someone that can speak English read your post, then get that person to rewrite your post in English.

Repeat the same process with the novels on tapread.

Tbh even more legitimate translations do that as well, even on sites like wuxiaworld. (Charm of Soul Pets and Tales of Demons and Gods come to mind, though they're not exactly lauded as the best translations to begin with.)

Just saying that he/she is the least of tapreads problems.

 

You need editors and proofreaders judging from OP's statement. Not to be mean but if the quality of your translation is the same with your statement then it really needs improvement. I am mediocre when it comes to english but was able to quickly notice the mistakes in your sentences. I bet grammer nazi's are having a fest scrutinizing your work. XD

I rest my case. Even that translation was shit. One positive I can say is that this one is better than half of TapRead translations

 

I dislike tapread because of the quality, it's unreadable to me. I have a hard time reading even small amounts of text if it's not at least decent English, even just reading your comment is slightly annoying to me, so instead of having someone mtl a novel into, what to me is, unreadable English I'd prefer if an actual translator picked the novel up.
I prefer slower releases with decent quality over just dumping tons of chapters out there as fast as possible.

That said, I don't go around constantly saying I dislike tapread, I answer when it is brought up tho.
