Spoiler Quick Transmigration Cannon Fodder’s Record of Counterattacks

Not in chronological order. Just the more memorable stuff.

• A bit of conflict between Ning Shu and Fa Tian (her whip) because as a superior being from birth, FT can't understand and disagrees with some of her actions and attitude.

• MC sends FT to study in a school for creatures born in the Void, which is in a mobile city in the Void. She paid a price to get the entrance thingy. Mouse goes with Fa Tian because (it seems like) it admired the city for a long time but couldn't enter without the entrance thingy. It got seemingly less clingy to Li Wen after experiencing this city and meeting new people.

• MC integrates part of her soul (containing the Will of Death) into her World, the Peerless Martial Arts book, so that Tai Shu and company can't take it from her and use it in an attempt to prolong the Sea of Laws' life.

• TS got MC to help subdue the little bit of Zheng Qing trapped in him, because
  1. they realised her Will of Death is effective against ZQ;
  2. and MC is a good distraction because if MC is in the vicinity, ZQ charges (murderously) at her whenever he manages to get out of TS' body
  What TS did was basically let that little bit of ZQ left (so little that he pretty much acts on instincts and seems to have limited mental faculties) and whatever power ZQ accumulated, out of his own body. NS serves as bait to keep ZQ distracted until TS recovers enough. TS grabs the weapon MC injected with some Will of Death and attacks ZQ until ZQ's extremely weakened, before trapping him in his body again. MC kinda thinks that even though she doesn't like ZQ, even she won't do what TS is doing (ie. making ZQ face constant humiliation and pain, just let him die already). We still don't know for sure why TS is trapping ZQ in his body, though MC has speculations. I also wanna mention that MC had no idea she was gonna be bait when she agreed to help, and Sang Liang's reward for her doing this (no way she'd help TS for free) was pathetic IMO. This may also be a periodical thing 'cause ZQ will accumulate strength over time, so unless they find another solution, they're likely to need MC's help again.

• Mo Ming invites MC to join a group he's in, they're filled with ppl from the organisation, preparing to band and survive together when the Sea of Laws collapse and the organisation disbands. It's kinda hinted that MC isn't actually qualified to join this group but MM is willing to help her enter through the back door. It's not that touching but when you have one sweetie amongst all the a**es, I think he can be called a cinnamon roll. MC rejected him though.

• With the Sea of Laws dying, it would affect her birth world too. With that in mind, MC returns to it and finds her eldest bro, who's an old man by now. His wife, MC's 2nd bro and 2nd bro's wife are already dead. MC tells him about the organisation and asks if he wanna join, she can get him in through recommendation. He rejects her. She leaves and finds her 2nd bro's soul and asks him the same thing, gets rejected again. There's a LOL(?) moment when 2nd bro asks her if she's found a significant other.

... The author seems very determined to have MC remain a lone wolf.

He was in the Reincarnation World connected to her birth world, searching for the soul of his wife who died before him. He wanted them to jump into the Reincarnation Pool together, in hopes that they will be together again after reincarnation.

Li Wen hasn't had screen time recently /.\, MC only mentioned him to discourage Mouse from following FT, and it didn't really work.

From what I recall, her subservient (at least that's his opinion) attitude to the organisation. Fa Tian doesn't get why she does stuff like sacrifice her own welfare (in his opinion) for the organisation. MC's initial POV is like she's working in a company, if the company collapses, she will suffer too. A part of their clashes in opinions is her finding ways to prolong the Sea of Laws' life even though it wasn't required of her to. FT tells her that she shouldn’t be pretentious wanting to save lives cos the SoL’s destruction got nothing to do with her, whether it gets destroyed or not, it's not her problem. If she continues this way, he may leave her one day.

This part is a bit hard to explain so instead of giving a sloppy explanation, I'm just not gonna go in-depth: Eventually she realises that being born in a world under/connected to the SoL, and being in the organisation all this time, she's been sort of brainwashed to hold the attitude she held. She cries, realising she's been too greedy, and stops proactively looking to prolong SoL's life. So she sort of agrees with FT by the end of this.

Yup, there's been no mention of this lately, it's either a forgotten plot point, future plot point or just MC's paranoia. We don't know how TS did that. If you wanna go much further back, a probable prerequisite was ZQ's weakening due to TS using him to prolong the SoL's life. It was a very painful and slow process for ZQ, at that. We don't really know what happened in between yet.

 

I Crindged when I read it.. Specially when people still don't completely have a good understanding of HIV/AIDs and are influnced by false/misinformation. This is like how some (idiotic) people are anti-Vaccine...

 

For the AIDS part, MC actually got herself a syringe of blood to infect the Shou though? Also the showbiz big reaction was because one of the Gongs was a bisexual (iirc) who gets around a lot that he was described to have bedded majority of the entertainment circle > then those people bed other stars/directors > continues.

The other stars didn't know when exactly the slag-Gong was infected and were afraid it had gotten to them whether directly/indirectly.

She was busy with a bunch of stuff and didn't do missions for a long time, but finally did 2 consecutively after her system reminded her of the backlog.

Eh, love-hate... whatever his feelings are, it's all one-sided on ZJS's part, MC wants nothing to do with him and wants him dead.

Her system betrays her, her first tasker friend dies, she pushes away the few guys who cling onto her, Zu Li's strength can't keep up with MC's growth and they haven't interacted in a while, Fa Tian's off 'studying' at times and she keeps thinking about their differences in birth and strength like some foreshadow, her new system used to be more talkative but is so quiet now, her bros don't wanna join the organisation, Mouse's presumably dead and Li Wen left, the rest have a transactional relationship with her ORZ... Maybe only with the exception of Mo Ming.

 

What now? Mouse could be dead??? Last I heard he went to school or something

 

He went to 'school' (it's more of a childcare/orphanage...) with Fa Tian for some time, then separated from Fa Tian and went back to Li Wen. Li Wen made this really bad decision to test his weapons on the organisation, despite MC persuading him not to. The organisation's army, including Mo Ming, fought the machines and after a while Tai Shu came to catch the perpetrators. Mouse sacrificed himself to let Li Wen escape. Yeah, Tai Shu kills yet another character...

What's left of Mouse is some glowing dust thing, which apparently all creatures born in the Void leave behind when they die. When Fa Tian comes back to visit and finds out Mouse's dead, he gathers that dust with a special container. He's intending to make some doll with all the dust he collects (he has been collecting even before this incident).

So Mouse may come back in the future as a part of this doll, but I doubt he'll have his memories etc.?

 

Just to make sure, there's really no positive sign of romance? T.T

 

I really think it's more on MC's part, though the guys all have their own issues.

The times when someone shows affection to her, she'll go like, this isn't romantic love, it's (insert whatever) mistaken as romantic love or this person has some motive to be acting this way. I kinda get the impression she doesn't really believe in romance itself either.
