I've been waiting for a new chapter for quite a while. It was unusual because the translator was on a roll, chugging out chapters. There was no announcement about any hiatus or break from translation. Plus, the raws have already been completed, so there's no reason to stop translating unless the translator themselves stopped. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this or about what's happening to the novel?
The translator is a troll, he only used the rule 3 months a chapter so other translator can't translate this novel. Honestly if he can't commit to a fixed schedule better give them to other translator
He was translating pretty consistently but then it went erratic after certain accusations were made about the site and now you get a random chapter every now and then... Who knows they may have changed translators
It'd be funny if 100 White Salts took this project. Basically a big fuck you to Kobato for being absolute dogshit at taking care of such a good series.
CSV (the translator) has personal life issues and his studies. It's not the first time and it can't be helped. He'll be back anyway.
@ImmortalsCave I agree that 100 White Salts translations have better grammatical structure and better vocabulary than Kobato translations. But I beg to differ with regards that "I am the Monarch" is a good series, it kind of went downhill from Chapter 188 onwards and then KR author started rushing to end the novel without a care for plotholes and logic. Ending for IaTM was a lazy and rushed attempt. Even KR author admitted that he didn't have time to write a proper epilogue. Spoiler: Crap Ending for IaTM "I am Clark Kent, I am Superman".
Still over 100 chapters left. You are officially screwed! But as was already said, the novel is not that good. Try Max Level Newbie or One Man Army Both get consistent updates.
I'll at least agree with some of the others in this thread when it comes to IATM going down hill. You honestly aren't missing much if you don't finish it, though to each their own. Either way there's a lot of good stories out there you can start to replace IATM, or to read while you wait for someone to finish the series. I'd personally recommend Infinite Dendrogram. I really love this story, just so much fun to read!

Don't be on the fence about Solo Leveling, the ending is an absolute joke. Looking back on the story, the start was strong, but it quickly devolved into "LOOK HOW AMAZING MY MC IS!"
Well it's wish fulfilment at its finest. No one should read these books expecting actual literature lol
At this point, I gave up waiting for its update. The novel is really good, so I think someone would like to translate it if they were allowed to, or the current translator would give it up, but no, chose to update once every three months which is very annoying, but that's fine, we read it for free anyway, so we are not allowed to rant or be mad about that. Good thing i can understand the raws so it's totally fine for me but i do feel bad for those who wait, up until now. Good Luck!
