so finally read the "ending" and i like this back to the roots ending
ofc we need a few epilogue chapters to tie the loose ends, but i still like this

when i thought the real novel would start after the layong of foundation, it ends, no moar adventure throuh many universes and stuff, no encountrr with his mentor and so on

 

The Pure Yang Sword Palace master is long, long dead. He died after killing one of the celestials/bronze giants by himself. That battle where he died is part of why his palace got thrown into the Tian Yuan world anyways because of being split off from its main world

It seems CC just drop that possible harem undertone to satisfy his reader that want harem from the start. You got 1 thousand chapter to make it and you give it a chance at the end of the novel when I pretty much invested to this novel because of the OTP

If next two chapters just confirm my feelings, I definitely wont read another novel by CC

Damn! This morning I woke up and found the epilogue released in Qidian. I immediately went to fetch the RAW to post here. Only to discover that it was all a dream when I woke up again.

BTW, anyone noticed that Yi Yun accomplished all of what Pure Yang Sword Palace Owner inscribed in his Seven Kills Pillar? You know, swallowing the Heavenly Dao, breaking the cycle of reincarnation (exclusively for Huan Chenxue) and wiped out the Celestials (well, they all fled from Chaos Heavens).

Here's the quote from ch 301 Pure Yang Sword Palace:

He sort of have control over the entire universe, and he has the Cube too...
I don't remember YY using a sword to deal with Ancestor God and the Celestials though. The Pure Yang Sword was completely forgotten, so is former owner...

Not sure it’s a harem undertone. More like all the friends have come together. Of course, like you said, the epilogue could overturn this.

 

Maybe Yi Yun is the reincarnation of Pure Yang Sword Palace Owner all along, or could have been.

That is a pretty vague statement. You can think of almost any chinese MC by the end of their novel and it would apply to him too
