Try “Red Storm”, it is as good as The Breaker. Also try “The Ruler of The Land” same author as The breaker but he paired up with a different artist. The art at the beginning is a bit old (since the manga started around 2000 and still ongoing), but it will get better later on.

I am clearly disagreeing with your original post by saying those two things, since they are counter to what your post said. If I agreed with you, I wouldn't have needed to post anything. First: the one saying they are of similar quality is ME. That is why I recommend it. Second: I don't care what the author of the breaker has to say. It has been several years since he dropped it. I will believe he is gonna pick it back up when he actually does it. The reason I bring that up is because people like you count the lack of ending for Veritas as a reason not to read it, and I want to point out that the Breaker also lacks an ending but is still worth a read.
