Discussion Have you ever remembered an embarrassing memory out of nowhere?

I sometimes remember the dark pasts that I have locked away in the deepest part of my mind in my daily life and I just want to curl into a ball, scream and disappear.
Like let's say a fail handshake in front of an audience. It always sneaks into my life like a bad stomach ache.

 

Why would you remind me of the dark past, not cool

 

yes. sometimes it's randomly coming to my mind. and when that happen, I'll creepily smile

 

Oh definitely.
If only I could give my younger self a good smack for all of the stupidest things I thought was cool.

I am so ashamed

 

Ya. Sometimes happens in the middle of nowhere and I just feel really bad. Like that one time I tried to show off in front of my cousins. Or that one time when I waved at someone who was not even looking at me.

The worst part is that no one else probably even remembers these moments. I'm just left to stew in my own awkwardness

 

I remember it expecially when kid do what i did , it's feel i am getting old like "what Youth"

Everyone if the time machine is a thing in the future, let's all go to the past and smack our younger self at least once.haha

Yeah....sometimes....out of nowhere....
I think this is one of the Most Common yet easily one of the Most Embarrassing moments one can have about: Mistaking someone in public....(For example like calling out to someone you thought you knew but turned out to be a stranger etc...)

No really...this is still my Most Embarrassing moments ever....the Biggest Failure I ever had in my life...

Like remembering that i did a really awkward pose at someone's party and that a clasmate pointed out at me("tried" to make fun of me) which i ignored.. or that i unconsciously became a thirdwheel for a classmate who's on a date ?
I just laugh how silly i had been when i remembered them and move on with my day~

 

Do we ever remember anything except this dark past ?

 

I stepped on a kitten once when I was a kid. It died along with my heart ...

 

I don't know about you but I sometimes reminiscing the good times in the past too
