Eh, when you really think about it, that sounds a lot like the majority of the characters of cultivation novels. They literally travel their worlds, finding new and more efficient ways to kill and rape just about everyone they meet or find attractive.

 

This is literally the only CN trope that I hate enough to just immediately drop whatever novel it appears in.

 

Heaven forbid actually putting forth the effort trying to woo them with kindness and decency. It wouldnt work because the jaded maiden would turn out to be a total bitch, either trying to poison the MC, or bobbitt his manhood out of revenge for her little sister that was violently raped in front of her to keep her in her place.

 

I feel like if Chinese authors created the #MeToo movement, it'll actually be #RapeMeToo movement

 

the idea of magical viagra has been around for a long time before webnovels became a thing. the authors didn't just magically come up with it, but instead took it from somewhere else and made use of it in their own stories. as for why, because they want to, because wish-fulfillment, because reasons.

as for the reasons MC don't just fuck holes in things instead of raping people. that's usually covered by author either stating the MC needs to fuck a person of the opposite sex for the yin/yang or the MC loses control (either the mind blanks or emotion instability prevents them from controlling themselves, ect.).

 

I'm guessing the list of cultivation novels you read is rather short then. Because I have yet to find one that doesnt have some form of forced courtship that resulted in a woman losing her purity.

yeah, its mostly that. Jaded maidens are used to be treated like objects of supreme worship so the only way to get them is utter bad boy-ism and, at the end, rape. The villain fears them too because they are super valued and from a great family but when they somehow soften for the MC, out comes the aphrodisiac and hello rape time for them disregarding whatever deterrence they felt before.

 

You forgot the part where it's a harem novel and the author can't think of any reason for women to sleep with MC besides literally being raped because of his trash writing...

 

It's the legal way to let out their fetish.

Doing it in real life are forbidden, so they have done it by imagination through the novel as an escape

Second: Well, as a reader i can only speculate, but i have an idea why thats the way the story goes.
Most Authors either dont (think they) have the time to set it up right, before losing a Mayority of their readers due to a lack of sex.
Also, there are many, that have this one idea of a cool, or in this case erotic, scene. Now they have to get to a point where they can justify such a scene in. That combined with the fact that i bet that atleast some Authors dont even know to Achive such a situation. Broken down 99.9% of the eros on NU atleast are
- Physicaly Forcing
- Mindcontrol
- Blackmail
- Or everything female in ur vicinity falling for you, because they crave that giant "sandwich" of yours

I think one of the best attempts i saw was in Bishoujo wo Jouzu ni Nikubenki ni Suru Houhou, but broken down even that is "only" Blackmail.
