Dungeon Defense - Though this one has semi-harem I would say. He only has 1 girl he likes/loves but he is kind of forced into a fuckbuddy relationship with another girl later on. (It's a fairly small part that is mostly shown and done for a reason, if you read up to it you'll understand) The Amber Sword - In this one the MC is teleported into game world of the game he is playing. He doesn't however get transfered into his own character but instead into a NPC several decades earlier in the games timeline, so he has the advantage of knowing where most stuff is or what is going to happen. (It is tagged as a harem and he does have several girls interested in him but it never goes anywhere) The Novel's Extra - This one is about an author being transported into his own novel, it is very good and interesting in my book and it is fairly similar to what you asked for, the world is fairly game like. Night Ranger - Is also about someone transported into a game world as a game character. It is fairly good but the end part and it's ending is among some of the worst in my book. It is still worth a read just don't expect much of the ending. Advent of the Archmage - Another person teleported into a game character in the game world or the world the game is portraying. Unsure if it is a harem, it has the tag but haven't seen any harem building except for a few girls being interested in MC. Arafoo Kenja no Isekai Seikatsu Nikki - Fits the bill of what you asked for haven't read it yet, no harem in it or romance at all from what I can gather. It's kinda hard to recommend novels with no harem elements since both the one's you used as an example have harem elements. My Sister the Villainess on qidian. It’s short, only 23 chapters at the moment, but it’s an epic mix of comedy and fun. The only thing I complain about is it’s slow release rate. One thing u might not like is that so far it hasn’t really started on the original game’s plot.
