    That isn't the point. The point was to show that a really prepared group can defeat a bunch of idiots who thinks they're undefeatable in theory.

    It didn't 'fail' since it wasn't the one doing the real defending to begin with.

    Yep. Exactly. Cale’s hair is like that for the cover of the novel too.

    So I’m confused when I see fan art, when it’s not accurate to actual canon. Cale’s hair on the cover is just like what it describes. “Fiery red.”

    The cover is rather recent, I think. Afaik the fanarts mostly have his hair wavy and soft. That could also be due to them made before the official cover was commissioned. I'll post some more later, too busy to link them atm
