What's the deal with the kids' eyes in the manga? At first I assumed those "bumps" on their lower lids were tears, but every panel of their faces retain those bumps. Are they permanently teary-eyed?

 

It's gloss. All the other characters are drawn the same way.

 

Ah. I didn't notice it on the other characters because they haven't had as many close ups as the kids.

As I was reading this chapter I thought maybe I had forgotten, due to how long it's been since I read the earlier chapters. Thankfully the tl cleared it up at the end. Still. who the hell is "Miranda"?

It's amazing to me that the author would think to add such dull stuff to his story every chapter and it still git made into a manga. This is getting to a point that's it's setting new standards of boring for these types of novels

I don't know how much longer I can continue following this novel. It keeps getting worse and worse. It's so boring. The author's habit of having a character say something, then repeating it in an explanation of it, is annoying as hell (ex. "Hello, my name is Takumi". I greeted them and introduced myself as Takumi). WTF!!. I'm surprised at myself for lasting this long. A few more chapters and if it continues to suck I'm dropping it.
