Though honestly, I don’t mind wuxia BLs, I’ve frankly gotten a bit bored of them. They are all oddly very very similar. The ML’s are always cold and or possessive and or black belly or all of the above.
I’ve kind of went pass the phase of Wuxia BLS.
Why do you like them? I’m curious haha

Huh? I think you're confusing it with xianxia, since in my experience, most Wuxia MLs are teasing, doting, and hilarious. I'm not a huge fan of the iceberg black belly troupe myself unless it's really well written. Wuxia for me just feels a lot more casual and with more plot over romance. Like that whole wandering through Jianghu, solving mysteries, funny situations, sad backstories, and slow burn 'aww' kinda romance attracts me these days.

Oh you’re right... I was talking about xianxia, but what’s the difference?

 

Xianxia is basically the fantasy version of Wuxia, with demons, immortals, and all that stuff. Examples are like... the ones on BCNovels, Scum Villain, etc. What I'm looking for isn't pure wuxia either lol, I don't think there's any authentic BL Wuxias. Just more wuxia-esque if that makes sense. Faraway Wanderers is a pretty nice example, and so is Flowers Reflecting the Sky.
