Discussion What Good JP LN/WN were you reading before they were dmca-ed or have stopped into obscurity?

For the DMCA-ed they might have been translated by the official translators but they could have ended like Youji Senki having never getting translated yet by the company who has license to them.

So what i was particular invested reading before the translator stopped translating them was called Tsuyokute New Saga. I mean there still the manga, but the WN/LN had more details and i don't it's translated yet again.

'Overlord', That one upset me the most. When that got DMCA'ed the publisher just purchased the rights and was only in the beginning stages with no timeline of when they were going to release the first book. Translation site had up to 5 volumes done and was just beginning volume 6. For your information volume 5 and 6 was the first time that an ark in the series went over multiple books. So waiting for those to get translated was annoying.

Unlike 'Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon' when they DMCA'ed that one the publishers had in place when they were going to have the first translated book out and that the first 3 volumes were going to be out in the year and books coming out on a very nice schedule.

 

anything on Baka-Tsuki......the site faced the worst brunt of the DMCA plague that swept across the internet.....

 

The Lazy King - the author decided to stop updating his WN when he got the chance to write the LN version. I've only ever seen the LN cover and it was an insult to the story itself - the MC was sitting on his throne with eye candy on each side.

 

What? The version on Yoraikun isn't the Light novel version?

Sigh, I truly miss LNs. I remember reading Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei.
Do you have any idea how many volumes and years behind we’re at in that novel?! It’s crazy.

One specific series was utsuro no hako to zero no maria. I actually forgot about this series till recently, good thing I managed to get a copy of the last volume via google.
