This is very interesting o.o...not too excited bout the ongoing tag tho... once it's finished then cool.
Its mostly in order. Just the parts in the middle after ml comes back from war up till the omc taking over may not be in exact order since its really just romance building stuff. So, mc and ml married first. But mc faints and is sick/unconcious before he sees ml. Then ml spends the rest of the time avoiding mc, so mc still doesnt see ml. Then ml leaves for war and they spend some time communicating through letters. Then ml comes back to save mc from the stolen map thing. But it's at night when stuff happens so mc can't see ml clearly. And the next morning after everything is settled, ml has to leave right away for the border before MC wakes up. So, mc doesn't see mls face until 3 years later.
Pretty sure its about finished as of 2days ago. Author started releasing some extra modern day chapters now.
Oh, so the fake map thing is also before the ML returns. I thought, he comes back after 3years and away again. So the whole things are before they meet ...... that's a whole lot time (and writing) of dating in a manner of speaking LOL
Last part: The main story between mc and ml is mostly finished. From ch68-ish on is really just finishing up 7th prince and the guard friend's story Their story actually really annoys me.. To the point i almost dropped the novel... 7th price use to bully the guard, so guard doesn't really like him. At some point in time 7th prince fell in love with guard...but doesn't stop bullying him...7th Prince is basically a tsundere Towards guard, who is oblivious of the changed feelings and reads everything prince does at finding ways to humiliate him.... (Which i feel is actually quite accurate....some of the things 7th prince does is quite humiliating even though he's" professing his love") ....7th price is too scared to confess his feelings...mc/ml figured it out tho.... Try to talk him into confessing... But 7th Prince just starts force kissing guard instead without even confessing!! (and im like wtf???) And he always picks the worse times to try to confess, where the guard never takes him seriously.... There Also a random very irritating character introduced for the sole purpose to creating drama... The daoist apprentice followed them back... Who falls in "love" with everyone that's nice to him... First ml making mc super jealous, then switches to mc... Making ml super jealous... Then to the guard... Making 7th prince jealous... But unfortunately....this isn't written in a funny way... Guards dad arranges marriage for him, which guard is perfectly okay with. 7th prince finally seriously confesses... Gets rejected... Is depressed...(but im like seriously you didn't even do anything to try and woo him over or make up for all the bullying or anything even??? Beside the gdm force kissing) On wedding day... The bride elopes with someone else...7th princess dresses up as bride and goes through the marriage so guard won't lose face...guard doesn't know until after the ceremony.....7th Prince continues to be extremely shameless... And more force kissing.... After some talking For some magic reason... The king & guards dad suddenly happily agrees to their marriage...as long as guard is the one to take the wife's role (Chinese status thing) Meanwhile... The guard also suddenly and magically realizes he actually does have feeling s for 7th prince too (how??? why????) And then they get married. *Ps. When i say suddenly and randomly, i mean it quite literally. Even though 7th Prince does nothing to win guard over, and just forces himself on him quite often... Somehow guard likes prince too, after being so against it for half the novel.... Also, mc makes a pair of wedding rings and gifts it to them. He also makes a set for himself and ml and gives it to ml in the last chapter (there was a first set, but got thrown away by omc before mc could give to ml) but for some unknown reason... Rings apparently do not exist in the world (.....) And that's the offical end of the novel. A few modern world extras left. The side pairing totally ruining this novel for me, like the main pairing is so cute... Then there is this couple with the kind of relationship i hate the most.... Where they use to dislike each other... Then one side basically forces the other one to get together... And that somehow turns into mutual love... (sorry, had to rant about this) My feeling overall... The main story is okay, the ending went to hell....
Modern day extra: Mc lives with ml in ancient time for about 10years. Three years after ml becomes king, some roof tiles(?) Dropped on mcs head (...) mc is sick for several days...ie dizzy, tired, periods of unconciousness...then one day he goes to sleep...and wakes up back in modern times mc searchs internet for mls country...finds some blogger wrote very detailed posts of him and mc, saying its a story past down by their ancestors...story says that ml only lived for three years after his death and then died... Mc has a evil family, his mom died during birth, dad got remarried after a few years and had another son...sent mc to his maternal grandma to raise him...young bro got sick...dad basically kidnaps mc and forced him to donate blood marrow(?) ...mc was i think 8years old...mc got infection afterwards, but dad only cares about new family...so mc hates his family Mc is heartbroken, mcs evil brother stops by to bother him....mc beats him up...mc visits grandma.... Meanwhile, ml +7th prince +guard + doaist apprentice had made their way to modern time! They reborn(?) As baby so he grew up again in modern times but with memories. This is due to something the daoist did so they could reunite... Ml basically been secretly stalking mc since he found him years ago (after the blood marrow incident) ml finally gets mc on the phone, mc is shocked/happy, ml meets mc at hospital and beats up younger bro who is bothering mc again, they go xxx Ml is rich and ceo of this company...the blogger was mls old butlers desendents passing on their story on mls orders, ml also has them bury like ten chest of gold and stuff, but after he digged it out in modern times, it got consficated by the goverment as national treasures Mcs dad followed mc to mls company...ml is going to deal with mcs dad in the next chapter which will be out tmw....this should also be the last chapter
Last chapter~ Ml and mc yells at dad for a bit, dad is agaisnt them being together, mc and ml ignores him, mc brings ml to meet his grandma, ml brings mc home and meets his parents, they get married ~~~ ml saved their original wedding rings from 1000years ago!!

It's normal.... Ive met ppl who ignore the cover and summary, including the warnings that its BL and they start by reading the chapter XD I say, they were too mesmerized by the plot
