I should've clarified. We won't be reading out loud. For those who haven't read up to the chapter we're discussing, can choose to read during the meetup. It won't be aloud but sub-vocalizing...make sense? And then we'll talk about parts of a chapter. The objective is to create the same experience you get with a group of friends when you come across something and it opens up this long conversation which can digress into some strange and bizarre topics.

So no, this won't be a "read-a-loud" classroom environment.

I in theory would be interested in this, but there are a few points:
1. What day(s) and time (including timezone)
2. Im not sure if its good to read everything in the group together. Maybe just some selected parts.
3. In the end we have to decide how much do we read between the "meetings". To much and some might not keep up, to few and we are stuck and probably binge ourselfs which wouldnt do any good for this.

1. Timezone can be PST (UTC-7), EST, LONDON.
2. I like that idea. We can do a number of chapter as required reading and leave and maybe a single chapter to be read during the meetup after we talk about what we've read. Those who don't have time for the extra chapter can leave early and catch up the following day.
3. I think binging can't be helped but as long as the discussion doesn't include spoilers, everything should work out. Maybe you prefer to read 5 chapters ahead of the required chapters, I don't see why you can't. The only reason would be you might want to get the full experience of going at the same pace as the group but not necessary at all.
