Discussion Would you dare ?

I thought of that after reading a few Arifureta after-stories.

Would you dare bring back a demi-human wife from another world ?
Let's also add that you are not OP enough to resist guns or heavy weapons.

Let's say for the ones that don't understand my question that it's possible that the government or some people would try to experiment on her or you after your return, but it's not a certainty. It's a question about how certain you are you won't have troubles returning with a demi-human girl. Will you fear the worst and break up with her ? (with possibly leaving her with a child and money) Or will you believe that you will have no problems because you never heard about the underworld in modern society ?

 

Why would you go back to your former world in the first? Sword and magic sword is better! I won't go back.

 

Is it not possible to live like a recluse?
Honestly, for something like this, I'd just ask the demi-human if they could take the risk.

This part is just a dirty move. You think I'll laze around in another world? Heck no, I'll become so OP that I can take down multiple gods with a gesture.

I don't think that now after tasting the forbidden fruit you can go back to not use it.

 

Bring back someone not even 100% human to our world ... REALLY?

I think you are overthinking things, unless the government learns about you traveling between worlds, short of you being a complete moron, the chance of you being caught is near 0. That is because most features of a demi human can easily be hidden in public or passed off as a costume.

It is even easier these days where you can live in a rural area with little inconveniences due to internet, personal vehicles and advancement of technology. You can even have a house in middle of nowhere with solar + batteries and live off grid completely in some mountain somewhere.

Of course it might pose problems in the long run for your decedents if they retain the demihuman features, but since when have we humans cared about that?

 

Just try to live 1 day without spells, skills, weapons and the thrill of gaining power
