Yesterday I got a samsung smartphone of a relative and installed two apps from google play (apps from different developers), in both cases I didn't see the system pop-up window asking me to accept the permissions that the apps need but they were installed automatically -that is, the apps do not ask permission to install- I searched through the system settings but didn't find the option to activate the permissions window, I googled for the solution but found nothing. I need help.
when I press the install button normally should appear the permissions I must accept (such as location or microphone usage), but the problem is that is not so.
What he said. Before Android Marshmallow, app permissions were an all-or-nothing affair. If the phone hasn't received an update to at least Android M, you won't have granular control over app permissions. EDIT: Not sure which apps you installed, but not all apps require permissions. If they don't require permissions, you won't be prompted prior to installing the app. Also, check your Play store settings. I think there's a setting that will allow you to install apps without being prompted to accept the permissions.
